we could form a superhero team! the first on the board, made up of young up and comings. It will primarily be made up of third years, or recent graduates. Hakucho already has a corporate sponsor, for gear and stuff. It
I already know who will lead them from afar - my OC and soon to be NPC, Yamato :3. she has Power Scaling - her ability to fight (strength, speed, combat capability) scales the more people with quirks she's fighting. tho it is useless on people that don't have a Quirk and who are allies... soz So, the team itself will be led by one of the PC members, but Yamato will sponsor, control them, be responsible for them, and arrange for resources, training, etc.
I'd like at least 5 total - up to 8 members. There will likely be pairs or groups, too, within the superhero team. I have a theme for Yamato, too. as she's an Onna-Bugeisha, she runs a private academy devoted to giving modernized samurai training, so, once they graduate they'll get another layer on their, uh, heroing, through direct tutoring by her. Yamato is somewhat of a controversial figure, though. she doesn't monitor people once they graduate, and they'll have developed the networking necessary to acquire military grade equipment, hero or villain. She does, however, get away with it because she was part of a program to produce someone worthy of the title Yamato, is technically a member of the military, and is sponsored by the Japanese government.
Just PM me if interested, please ^_^
I already have one, so, that's two people who have a slot reserved (myself included).
Yamato is an Onna-Bugeisha., and leads the only modernized school for onna-bugeisha and samurai in the world for graduates of superhero academies the world (it is a university), with Yamato's academy being a dream school for many, her students and employees teaching students the traditional way of the samurai, as well as the use of modern weaponry, equipment, medicine (including battlefield medicine), riot control, confronting superhumans, with entire degrees offered, drone operation, engineering and smithing, and more. Controversially, the Oyanaka School for the Modern Samurai is not a direct route to the military, and people often form peer networks that can allow them access to advanced equipment long after graduation, and people who could purchase their services, whether hero, villain, or an outlier. People have accused Yamato of using her position in the Japanese government to create a factory for producing human weapons that have no guaranteed allegiance to the state, something that presumably wouldn't be possible without her being who she is. Others fear that Yamato's control over the establishment and her students might surpass the control that the state has over them, with some more extreme individuals having very strong opinions about what Mizuno might do. The Grandmaster herself uses it to train prospective superhumans that will join superhero teams around Japan, and beyond, as well as superhumans who intend to join the Japanese defense force personally.
I don't have a character yet, so right now it is in the discussion stage, but I wanted to get ahead.
