Well, no matter what you thought you were never alone in that. The truth of those words remain printed in his mind, it feels like exposure and he wants to lash out to hide the vulnerability of it, but he doesn't. He came too and the world around him was entirely too bright. He had seen flashes of it through peeks that Onryō had allowed him to see, likely only to torment him further. Then he recalled what Aya had said, he did this to himself. Onryō was only an extent of his own being and if the demon had taken control, that was only because he had wanted it to. There was a shame that came with that realization. Aya was always right, annoyingly so.
He could see the strain in the other's expression, in the way he held himself up. He himself felt weak to his bones, Onryō had been taking many liberties with his body that much was certain.
"I guess not." He said with a frown and matching grimace, sighing. Not sure what had led to this though he figured they were only like this now because they were too tired to continue fighting. Or maybe this was genuine, he wasn't sure. He let the feeling settle over him, not everything was a display of weakness. Just because he was yelling and fueled by anger, didn't mean he was less than he used to be.
He smirked at that, "I'm sure I did warn you at one point that I was a stubborn bastard. Though I'm fairly certain I'm only alive to this point because of you."
They had been through a lot, the months before their fight. They had seen near death in many forms. They had grown and they had tried to tear each other down, and mostly succeeded.
That admittance made him freeze then. His expression was open, baring his own utter lack of competence in this kind of situation. He would likely never have the right words for him, but he could try.
"I'm not going anywhere. If you don't want me to... I mean." He scratched at the back of his neck, feeling stupid. "My mom might actually try to kill me now." He added with a snort.

Aya walked over to the sofa, picking up the carrier bag he had dropped at some point along the way. Ugh, the dessert was probably totally aesthetically ruined now, though he supposed that was his own fault.
“...well there’s a difference between... guidance and control... that’s all...”
He pushed some of his hair that had pulled free from the tie away from his face, it seemed to have grown a little again, as in atleast 5cm today. It seemed when he overexerted his quirk it made his hair and nails grow faster.
Interesting.
He sat down next to Sen, pulling out a bottle of tea from the bag, opening it.
“Of course it is, it’s my job to preserve you so you don’t wreck yourself too much.”
The violet haired man replied with a slight raise of the brow, feeling slightly a little more settled now though he still felt slightly shaky.
Now that his hair was longer, the parts were his dna had ended up mixing with Sen’s and thus producing dark hair became more obvious, black streaking through the purples.
“...I’ve never wanted... you to go anywhere I can’t see you.”
He replied taking a sip of the drink to attempt to return to normality somewhat. Bursting into tears wasn’t something he had done for around 12+ years and not something he fancied doing anytime soon but he had come a bit too close to it without noticing.
“...well... weren’t we going to kill even gods anyway? I am sure we can find a way to defeat her too, she’s hardly a god.”
Taking another swig of the plastic bottle he put it down on the floor next to him, and placed the bag down also. He’d distress about the fact he had ruined his cake he went so far to obtain later. Also, talking about leaving or not, it made him realise something he had to ask Sen. Like maybe it was a bit dumb to start saying stuff like this now, he but wanted to make sure. He shifted his body a little to face the other man more, looking up from the spot he was staring at on the floor to meet his eyes.
To be honest he didn’t know if he could say this properly as he never had any need or desire to say these kinds of things to someone else before (nor was he good at communicating with others, that was probably a huge understatement) but at the same time he wanted to be sure where they stood, and this was what one was meant to do, right? He had read it in enough mangas and watched it in enough animes, so it probably wasn’t weird... though it felt a little... awkward, he must admit.
“Onishi Sen.”
The other’s name spilled from his lips as he took a deep breath.
“...Will you become mine?”

"I know, I know... though can't always promise I'll take your guidance." It was simply the honest truth, he knew himself too well. Sen was a proud, egotistical bastard and that was likely not about to change any time soon though Aya had to have figured that out by now considering how long they had known each other and been privy to one another's faults. Aya had matured a lot while he was gone, changed. His hair was longer, his features more fine. While Sen was fairly certain that he himself had gone and come back thinner, paler, sicker. A walking, talking hurricane of problems he wasn't going to get over any time soon. It was a wonder that Aya was so patient with him.
"If anyone can, I'm sure it's you. I certainly can't take care of myself." He snorted at that, sleepiness entering his voice. He already felt softer, sharp edges and tension dulled and relieved by the other's presence alone. "I go plenty of places you can't see and that's not likely to change, but that's kinda where the trust factor falls in, no?" That was a lot to ask for considering everything they had been through the last couple of months. He was not the kind of person you trusted blindly, not unless you were stupid and Aya was anything but stupid.
"You haven't met my mom before." He chuckled. "Not a god, more like a demon."
Part of him new what this was leading to and it caught in his throat, possibilities and response he couldn't fathom. How did one usually respond to these types of things? Immediately, his mind set upon it like an Onishi would. What did it mean? How could he use it? Was it to his own benefit? Did acceptance suggest weakness or strength? Yet as soon as his mind went about it, the exhaustion set in and the questions became nothing more than far away echoes. “...Will you become mine?"
"You're such a formal idiot, Aya." He sighed, eyes shutting. "Thought I made it pretty fucking clear I was a parasite you weren't getting rid of." Spoken with the elegance of a true heathen, he leaned his head back on the couch and closed his eyes.

“I know...just...bear that in mind when I say things... There’s no point in attempting to control anyone...it’s...a dumb thing to do.”
He knew that more than anyone, only fools would think they could fully control another human being, in fact the opposite effect would most likely happen if one tried.
“...you know what I mean, Sen.”
Aya rolled his eyes slightly at those words though he smiled faintly. He had actually not checked the tracker on purpose, because he felt like it was going to do his mental health more harm than good, though he did wonder if it was still intact.
“I have not. But in general, demon killing is thought of to be ranked lower than god killing, and all we have to do is destroy anyone and thing that tries to destroy us, right?”
Simple concept, may be a little more complicated to achieve but well, he was sure they would manage, or die trying. There was no point in worrying about it, with careful strategy anything could be possible.
“T-these sorts of things should be done formally!!”
Aya managed to force out, face starting to colour slightly. Who knew it was so embarrassing to do things like this? Well...it was a new learning experience, he assumed.
“G...ood...I’m not going to let you get away anymore in any case...so...prepare...yourself.”
Sen looked really tired, and he guessed he should really let him sleep.
“Are you ok sleeping there? You can sleep on my bed, if you like…or are you going to make that your permanent ...bed.”
Sharing beds was the kinds of things lovers did...right?? It was a good thing he had a double because he liked sleeping with a pillow...

Sen was nothing if not, bizarre as it may seem, a coward under these kinds of circumstances. It was hard when every emotion for Aya was complex and intertwining and often hard to interpret. And Aya was often quite difficult at most times. He knew what he gotten himself into, Aya had warned him as much that if he ever chose to leave him the other villain would make it very difficult for him. It was always about Sen leaving, but never about Aya. He wasn't sure how he would have handled it if it had been Aya that had vanished on him. Likely it would have been hard, which made him feel guilty. He'd gone and made Aya vulnerable, they shared something so intimate, and then he ripped him apart. Sen knew that he was lucky he wasn't dead the second Aya had come into the apartment and seen him. Especially since yet again he had hid behind Onryō of all things just to escape the inevitability of this moment.
He was lucky Aya even wanted him back. That was not something he was about to take for granted, though he couldn't help but tease the other's formality about it all. Leave it to Aya to make this sound official and business-like. Sen smiled then, "Yes, sir. I do. You're the only one that keeps me from doing stupid things and dying painfully."
"We were quite formidable together weren't we? I miss that."
He grinned sheepishly at the color that graced the other's face when he teased him. He couldn't quite help himself though he knew he was being a bit of an asshole, considering Aya was only opening up to him. In the only way he knew how. They were both new to this. The other stumbled over his own words and it was surprisingly cute. Sen reached forward, fingers trailing lazily over the other's cheek. "You're cute." Says sleepily.
"This couch isn't so bad, I remember quite a few good things occurring on this couch." He had been almost asleep when the other spoke up, smiling as he stood with a yawn. "Alright then, let's go."
Without another word, he disappeared into Aya's room and fell face-first onto the bed. Immediately, he groped at the sheets, prying fingers and a childish murmur, waiting for the other to join him.

It was a pretty frightening idea, to willingly put oneself into a situation where he could be hurt in the way he hated more than anything else. And unlike last time, where Aya couldn’t exactly choose his parents or what they did, he was entering this willingly- something a year or two ago if someone had told him he was going to do, he would have laughed at them. But with all the time he had to think about it, it probably would make him weaker to try and deny something that was a clear, obvious truth and the denial would be more detrimental and foolish than acceptance. Their last fight had sort of proved that and Aya wasn’t going to make that same mistake again.
“...We are formidable together. Humans do the craziest and unbelievable things when they are romantically involved with another. It would be unlike us to not utilise that.”
Use anything and everything to claw your way up, get stronger. It was the way he felt they both lived now and that was how he liked it. Who decided it was a weakness anyway? They were just clearly incompetent fools, something himself and Sen were not. They could do this and become stronger than imaginable.
“!!”
A small sound came from the back of the violet haired man’s throat at those simple words, foreign words he had never had used about him before. His brain lagged for a moment, like a trash tier computer who was having trouble processing such information.
“I-You...Yes...I..know.”
Onishi Sen was clearly far more dangerous to him than initially thought. What in the world was this uncontrollably flustered feeling in his chest? Now that the other had mentioned it, flashes of recollection of what they had done together prior surfaced in his mind, making him slightly redder.
“J-..ust go to bed, idiot.”
He uttered, going over to the fridge to shove his ruined dessert in there before following Sen into the bedroom.
“At least...take your clothes off before you...pass out…”
He supposed he could lay with Sen for a while, it was nowhere near bedtime for him (he slept at around 5am usually) but...as much as he felt embarrassed admitting it to himself, he did want to stay close to Sen right now. Aya slid into bed after removing most of his outer clothing, gathering up and pushing all his hair out of the way over his shoulder that wasn’t facing the other man.

Sen had managed to shuck off some clothing, but was sleepily swallowed by the softness of the bed and the effort to remove most of it proved to difficult in his current handicapped state. So rather instead he laid there with his hair unkempt and clothing rustled half way removed, shirt eased up to his chest exposing his belly. Jacket still clinging one of his wrists, but he didn't so much care anymore. Instead he focused into the other's presence, pulled in by his body heat and the solidity of his form. Hand slipping forward around the other man's waist like it was meant to be there, like he had never left. "I missed you." He says in a breathy exhale. And then he was out like a light, offering Aya almost no room to flee from the weight of his arm.
When he woke up, it was the first time he actually knew where the hell he was. For the most part. For a moment, he panicked, thinking it was only a dream and he was once again in some unknown place that the wraith had dragged his body to. Then he felt the familiarity of the room around him and the smell on the sheets that was all Aya.
Then he realized he had drooled during the night, which wasn't attractive in the least. Quickly, he pulled away, dragging the back of his hand over his mouth and yep that was his drool. He wasn't sure how long he had slept for, just that he felt far better than he had in weeks—no, months, more like. "Aya?"

“...Sen, did I not say take your clothes off at least…”
The violet haired man sighed as he leant over to touch the hem of the jacket still on the other man’s wrist and with a flick of his finger it was pulled off, folding itself neatly in the air before dropping on top of a wardrobe. He glanced down, wondering if there was anything else he could take off as everything would be creased to shit if Sen slept in it- not that...it wasn’t already, but he just couldn’t watch it happening before his very eyes. He saw that the other man had at least managed to kick off his trousers, which half hung out of his side of the bed, other half draped down to the floor. Another few flicks of the finger made a folded pair of trousers land on top of the jacket.
He considered removing the shirt he was wearing too, and after a moment’s consideration went against it. That would...be weird. And embarrassing. Instead he opened to sit up in bed beside the black haired male who seemed to be dozing off already.
“!!!”
Aya made a small sound at the back of his throat, much like a squashed cat at Sen’s words as he felt an arm wrap around his waist and pull him closer. His brain was lagging again and he didn’t know what to say, wait, what WAS one meant to reply to something like that??
“H-hey w-wait!!”
He managed to force out the words, he was drawn a little closer to the other and instead he decided to slide down so he was at least laying down before Sen’s other arm came down, effectively trapping him in place.
“S-sen??”
…
The other man was clearly already asleep.
Fuck.
“Seriously…”
A small sigh left his lips as he shifted a little to get comfortable. He supposed he could wait a little until Sen released him inevitably in his sleep...
Aya had ended up passing out at some point when he realised he was well and truly trapped, and sleepiness took over as overexertion of his quirk caught up with him. He stirred when he felt the other move, and his eyes opened slowly as he heard his name being called. For a moment he thought it was one of those weird, vivid dreams he had been having the last few months where he felt Sen’s presence around for a split moment before it dissipated. Like a living ghost. But then he remembered… he had come back.
“Morning…”

His clothes were neatly folded on the wardrobe, though he couldn't actually remember taking off his clothes (not successfully at least). Truthfully, Sen could only remember bits and pieces of what happened the night before, but he could remember the parts that mattered. It felt like he had come there for a reason and it was likely because he had been so fucking miserable and stupid before that he didn't care about his pride anymore. He dragged his sorry ass to Aya's or maybe the wraith had and it had simply worked out. Aya had pushed the wraith out, he remembered that much. He remembered the warmth of his presence all around him and the way his voice filled his head. And then he remembered the dreams he'd had, routinely every time he closed his eyes, Aya on the ground and a trail of smeared blood. He couldn't protect him if he was away, could he? In the end, it didn't make sense to stay away
"Good morning." He smiled up at that voice, before eyes flicked down to spot of drool staining the sheet. "I uhh.... may have drooled some." That wasn't fucking embarrassing at all. Nope.
Immediately, Sen changed the subject to matters less personally embarrassing. After all, it was far easier to tease the other man, "I see you were in a rush to get my clothes off again." He snickered before leaning forward across the bed, leaning over him. Wanting to do something, be affectionate, but then thought otherwise and pulled away. Quickly, he slipped from the bed and stretched, grabbing his trousers and jacket from their respective places. "I'm hungry, what about you? We can... talk."

Well, with the bodily fluids Sen had gotten on his furnishings in the past (his, Aya’s own, and random other people’s…) drool was probably wasn’t the worst. He shrugged casually, Lavender-Grey eyes gave Sen a withering look at the comment.
“Yes, I was. Seeing as last time, you stripped me while I was unconscious, I thought I should return the favour.”
He said drily, a faint smirk on his lips. To be honest if Sen hadn’t, things could have ended badly the time he had taken his clothes off as he was unable to himself. Explosives and knives on his belt and all that, not best thing to nap with. A slow blink as the other male suddenly moved closer to him, Aya’s breathing hitched for a moment in anticipation of...what exactly, even he didn’t know for sure and his body froze, until the other pulled away rather abruptly. Aya quickly glanced away, feeling a little more than embarrassed internally that some part of him expected something.
“Well, I suppose I should eat something.”
Seeing as he didn’t eat his “dinner” the night before. Yes, conbini sweets were a perfectly acceptable thing to have as an evening meal.
“Alright.”
He nodded, sliding out of bed and actually removing his clothing and underwear that he hadn’t the night before, tossing them into the laundry basket. Thank god he had not got into bed fully clothes, just thinking about the creased clothing made him shudder. He walked over to the bathroom to somewhat freshen up before coming back to put on new underwear and clothes, before brushing out his hair and tying it back.
“I found if I overexert my quirk, it accelerates my hair and nail growth. I probably should look into why it does that a bit more…”
Once he was done he turned to Sen, holding out his hand which had rather long nails- atleast 3cm long claw-like things growing out of his fingertips now.
“Shall we go?”

Unsurprisingly, Aya hadn't lost his bluntness.
The bastard was also still annoyingly good at making him flustered over it, "I didn't strip you down when you were unconscious. Make me sound like a creeper." He grumbled, immediately rubbing at his cheeks as if that may make the heat seem less like a flaming sign of his own embarrassment.
Sen regretted everything instantaneously— the coming here, the sleeping next to him, the moving close, and then the moving away. He wasn't sure what kind of signals he might be giving the other and he himself was a ball of utter confusion. It was a bit confusing to himself, as he knew they had said things the night before, but he didn't know where they stood. Were those actions even welcomed anymore, did Aya even want them? Will you become mine? Dumbass, being so stupid formal. Sen smiled at the memory.
Then Aya was stripping and Sen really regretted having not kissed the bastard. Once again his face was red like he hadn't fucking seen all there was to show a hundred times even before they had become anything intimate because Aya had the shame of a naked cat. He slipped on his clothes, which were messy and creased in a way he knew Aya hated. "I noticed, it... looks good on you," Everything looks good about you. God, he was an idiot. Aya was turning him into a mess.
"Yeah, you pick the place." He said, knowing he himself was entirely too finicky when it came to choosing well... anything.
He pulled on his jacket before slipping through the wall, returning looking flustered, "Guess.. we should use doors..." It had been awhile.

“Well, I suppose you can just do it while I’m conscious next time. Would that make you feel like less of a ‘creeper’?”
A faint rise of a brow showed he was sort of teasing in his own way. It had just never registered in his mind stripping to change still was undressing, and that anyone could see it in any way past the functionality of getting dressed. It would be like feeling awkward at the public baths. Well, he didn’t like them either, just because it meant being around people- it was another sort of unease altogether but their "Almost starving level poor" VS "Son of one of the richest men in Japan" childhood difference thing never really sunk in until they had mundane conversations like this.
“...you do know you left all your clothes still here, right?”
It was probably a good thing Aya had no friends or any visitors to his apartment as it probably was creepy that he had kept all of Sen’s belongings pretty much where they were just looked after. He guessed it didn’t matter, he’d get Sen out of those clothes when they came back and iron the fuck out of those creases.
“O...oh...thank...you…?”
He had mentioned it more as a scientific fascination more than anything and had not been expecting the reply. One thing Aya really didn’t know how to deal with were compliments about his appearance. When it was something about his skills with technology or tactical finesse it was something he could insult the other’s intelligence for not noticing sooner. But for a person who didn’t think they were attractive in the slightest and had spent his whole childhood and younger adult years knowing he was generally unsettling to look at and “ugly”, it really threw him off when his now-since-as-of-last-night lover said things like that. How was he meant to react? What was he meant to say in return? He cleared his throat as he tried to think of somewhere to go, trying to shove the more awkward feelings into the back of his mind and hoping his thoughts were not written on his face.
“Alright.”
Aya nodded, watching Sen phase through walls like doors didn’t exist- well he supposed for the other they didn’t, really.
“Well...I mean… even if you can do that, I still have to open the door so that’s entirely up to you…”
His voice did sound rather amused, however. Once outside in the late afternoon air, the purple haired man navigated through the many backroads towards the nearest family restaurant- mainly as it did nice desserts and well… it sold stuff that wasn’t sweet so Sen shouldn’t complain.

"Yeah, suppose less creepy. Maybe." He wanted to reply with something dirty, something funny, but it came out awkward and utter with the sliver of a half-smile and a red face. Aya was teasing him? It was bizarre to him just how different they were, but that didn't seem to ever affect how they worked (not entirely at least, things had been rough around the edges at first). They'd both had entirely different beginnings, different reasons for becoming who they were. Aya was calculative and quiet where Sen was aggressive and obnoxiously loud, and yet they seemed to balance one another strangely.
"Oh...." He fell silent though the question: You still have my clothes? weighed heavy on his tongue. It made his throat twist up and his chest feel heavy though he didn't know why. It felt like a strange possessiveness that even in his absence, he had still claimed a place here. No one had taken his place, that he knew of or so he hoped. He might have changed, but he supposed it was a little late for that and shrugged it off. Though it likely would drive Aya insane.
He could tell his compliment had unsettled the other, but that was nothing new. Aya had always been like that.. which was something Sen never fully comprehended. Unlike the other, he was a conceited asshole that had always known he looked good, but he assumed it was to the other like his own sense of self-worth was for him. Though it still didn't make sense how the idiot couldn't tell he was god damn gorgeous. Rather than point this out, Sen just smiled, "You're welcome."
His entire life had been crafted around money and high-class luxury, small family-restaurants still continued to surprised him in a way. It was quaint. He could only imagine what his mother might say seeing him in a place like that, lifting her lip in a disgusted sneer that he would belittle himself in such a way. At first going to such places had felt rebellious, it had felt good, but now it felt strangely natural for him (especially with the other man). He sat down at their table, eyes skirting around curiously. This was a date, right? Wasn't it? Or was it just a normal outing? What was the difference? He had gone on dates before but not actual ones, not ones that mattered. He looked around, figuring the place was secluded enough to talk about just about anything. "So you kept things running..." By things, he meant Hive. By things, he meant the things that they had set up and that he had abandoned when things got too tough. An unexpected guilt settled into his belly like a stone.

He kept everything because...well, he didn’t know why. It wasn’t like Aya had expected the other to return…
Well…
He would tell himself that but really somewhere he was hopeful. He really didn’t learn, did he?
But this time it had been different.
The small shard of faith that had stabbed into his chest like a splinter of shattered glass actually ended up being worth the pain of carrying it around. Little did he know that was a large risk to take, had he lost the gamble… That was an alternate universe the whole of Japan unknowingly was glad never happened.
Once they were in the restaurant, he noticed that Sen was glancing around, god knows why. Even though Aya had studied the other man quite a bit in the time they had been together, he wanted to know more, every facet, every face, every emotion… what was he thinking now?
He already knew what he was going to get- the Kesar mango parfait, no need to even look at the menu of extensive savories as it wasn’t like he ate anything like that, please.
“Well...yes. I...did.”
He had indeed, initially been at a bit of a loss once we realised what exactly had happened, what he had done, let his feelings in the way of more practical, solid things like life plans. But then he realised that he couldn’t just stop here. So emotionally lost or not, he had to go forward and try and do something. That was...well, what he supposed caused Sen to be ultimately sent to him yesterday. Funny how things turn out, really.
“I thought it may be better to start getting our network’s name known in public…”
Notoriety. So when it came to pulling that large scandal over his father’s head, it would be worse for him. And so any enemy of theirs would just hear the name of the ones who targeted them and be paranoid. He did see the need for it, so it was only smart to start building.
“I…”
The long haired man paused for a moment. The emotion that bubbled up inside his mind, did he even want to, dare materialise it into words? Normally, he would not have said anything. For fear of it being used against him, or fear of the curse of things crashing down around him as they seemed to so far. Fear of it hurting him, that awful pain that made it hard to even breathe.
No, he had to communicate a little bit more. At least… try.
“...glad you came back. Things...are not complete without you…”
Okay, this saying things he thought and felt thing was far more embarrassing than he anticipated.
“...p-plans...that is...you...are a vital part…”
He tried to make it at least sound tactic focused (albeit badly), like his role in the whole organisation was.

Aya was an idiot for accepting him back, without pummeling his face in of course. He would have deserved it no? It was his fucking fault. Things had moved so fast and he had freaked out and behaved like an idiot. And yet here he was. All the while, Sen expected every second to explode into tension once again. All it would take was him saying something stupid and he said A LOT OF STUPID THINGS.
He went for the first thing on the menu with four pepper symbols next to it, regardless of ingredients. He didn't know what it was about Onryo that made him crave more and more spicy things, to the point he could not longer taste the individual spices and ingredients of the meal. It was all the same to him, it was about the kick, the heat. The demon was pretty relentless in its appetite and it craved a single thing and so too did Sen. Onryo abhorred dessert and sugar, and so too (likely much to Aya's horror) did Sen.
"I'm glad you did.." He said, softly, not certain what to say to that. Obviously he was glad, but he felt betrayed by it (stupidly). Like somehow their baby had grown up and he was returning to the post-adolescent stage, no longer one of the fathers just a stranger. It was a strange and stupid way to think about a criminal organization. Though it had been something that belonged to him and Aya. Now? He wasn't quite sure. But then Aya said something that made him smile: our network. God, he was a fucking sap. The hell had happened to him?
But, then Aya had to go and make it fucking WORSE.
"...glad you came back. Things...are not complete without you…"
It was as if Sen had lost all his grit, all his fire, every inch of anger and fury and intensity snuffed out like a candle. And he sat there staring at the other man like a fucking loser. He couldn't quite grab the words that were stuck in his throat or unwind his tongue which laid knotted in his mouth. How did he even respond to such a thing? He was missed. Things were broken in his absence for Aya. He felt stupidly light-headed with it all. And then he was smiling like an idiot, it felt untrained and dumb, childish on his face.
Oh.... then Aya kept talking, Aya ALWAYS had to keep talking. It was like he was allergic to saying nice emotional almost romantic things.
"Well I mean..." He shrugged at that, "sounds like you guys got on just fine, I mean. My mom sent me to kill you and she's not often threatened."
Sen paused for a second, staring down at the table. "So I.."
He was interrupted then, by the waiter, awkwardly he ordered his food and drink before he was once again allowed the space and time to think about what to say. He didn't know what he was going to say but it had his tongue twisted even more than before. So, instead, he found the only other topic that needed mentioning. "My dad is getting out of jail." He had heard about the news from his mother, of course. She said she had forgiven him, but of course she hadn't. The only thing that had mattered to him before was watching his family and the whole goddamn world burn. He didn't want his dad to die, he wanted the bastard to rot in jail and watch the world continue to turn, useless and blind as his empire fell to the ground. There was no one else in the world that Sen was more afraid of than his father, even more so now. "All those years of planning... and he gets out on a technicality." He snorted at that, but his expression was blank and unreadable.
