It was all so very interesting; and offered Teresa a break from all the book work that she had been made to do on diffusing situations and helping others in tough situations. Silently Teresa hoped there would be no complications with her health with using her quirk so much. She wagered a guess that should she exceed her normal exercise limit, she will be very close to causing her heart some distress. Should she keep going after her limit...well, her muscles and her heart in particular would become a problem. She watched with disinterest as the teacher with red hair and what seemed to be a bad attitude came in and got jumped by a second teacher that came out of nowhere. Their relationship wasn't anything she cared about, but hopefully their attitudes would not get in the way of the lesson. When Daiki had said that he was alright, Teresa nodded silently and went back to holding her teddy bear. It was an odd thing for her to carry around, but it was one of her most important possessions. When she wasn't around others, she refers to her bear as Mr. Bear, and does talk to it at times when alone.
After listening to the teacher explain things, Teresa gathered herself around the group of students. The student who looked like a cat, whose name was Isamu Suzuki, had started to tap at his little armband. She liked how he was so organized and proper; it was familiar territory for her own personality. "Good morning, Suzuki-san," Teresa said back to her fellow student with a bow of her head politely. It was a moment more that she listened to the explanations and questions her fellow students brought forth and the proposed strategies. Teresa looked to Jun who asked about her quirk and abilities. Without much emotion on her part, she silently nodded to Jun and began to rummage in the now opened zipper portion of her teddy bear. She pulled out her black leather gloves, pulling them on quickly as she unzipped the two zippers on either side of the middle one to pull out two straps to make a backpack. Making extra sure she had her heart medication in the middle compartment, she pulled on her teddy bear backpack and stood at a small distance from them. "My quirk is called King's Might; it's fairly straight forward in terms of how it functions."
With the emotionless tone in her voice still going, she turned to punch the side of a building with just half of her strength, making a large hole in the wall. Hence the gloves. "My quirk does not deactivate, nor does it lessen. I am able to lift large amounts of weight and put force behind my body when fighting. As for my skills, I am skilled in using a Bo Staff and have skills in gymnastics. I also have basic medical knowledge should anyone need it. I have supplies on me if need be." She walked over to one of the fake and rather beat up cars and squat down do pick it up with both hands. She then moved it to just her right hand while looking at the other students. "I do believe my skills will be better used in making sure the teacher's do not make a mess of the city, though I also do think that I will be able to help the citizens escape danger if that is what is decided." Teresa dropped the car loudly and dusted off her hands against one another before she stood by Isamu with her arms at her side. She glanced over at the gathered crowd of students. Some she knew from her class, others were not, though they were clearly first years. There was a boy that came late, as well as a girl with black hair and red eyes that looked her way for a moment before turning back to a girl who looked to be her twin. This would prove interesting for sure. She glanced back at the two teachers. One looked to be like the gangsters she read about in books and the other just looked kinda disinterested in general, at least to Teresa.

Oh. And just like that the two of them were unintentionally having the class gravitate toward them after the teacher explained what they were going to do. This was of course after Katai gave Yawai the much needed note! She would have thanked her sis had she been given the time but it seemed the rest of the team wanted to meet them. Though that made sense considering that the two girls were newcomers and all ya know! They had to get to know the people they were gonna work with after all! Yawai kept on her friendly smile as she would proceed to give a friendly greeting back to each person who extended one to her. Or so was the plan initially! ANYWHO! First up was number 615. Ren Wolff. And oh my god. Could you say sploosh? He was she everything Yawai imagined he was! He was as cool and calm and Yawai felt like she could TOTALLY get lost in his eyes forever. NO NO NO! She couldn't let herself be swept up by his roguish good looks and aloof demeanor! Boys like him were heart breakers after all! PLUS! Even more importantly! Yawai needed to keep her eyes on the prize. Which even if a part of her totally wished it could be him, she needed to make sure she and her sister shined today! Second to follow him was a boy that Yawai had her eye on for quite awhile. He was sort of 1-A's dark horse in her opinion. While there were many people who stood out from the others in that class, Jun Tomoshibi did quite the opposite. Ironically, his rank seemed to reflect as much with him clocking in at 916, but Yawai knew you couldn't sleep on the guy. From what she'd read up about the kid, he actually had a pretty fantastic quirk. It was one that was said could 'literally make anyone jealous'. With a description like that attached to ya, you automatically knew the guy was no slouch! But like Yawai said, considering that class that the blonde had happened to wind up with, she couldn't imagine how hard it might've been for him to stand out. That was so sad....and yet... SO CUTE. Behind her cute little smile, Yawai was practically drooling over herself thinking about Jun Tomoshibi's poor unfortunate face. Like dear god. Even now! He looked so sad! Yawai partially felt bad for him but melancholy mood was one hundred and ten percent apart of his charm! It was him against the world! Fighting against the unfair exceptionalism that he'd been matched up with! In an ideal world he would have been number one! Hell! He could still be! But whether it was the wear of U.A. or life in general that was starting to get him down, Yawai couldn't say she really minded it since she wanted to continue to bask in his cute sad aura. Jun introduced himself along with his ability which was nice and proceeded to ask the three new girls about their own powers along with whether another girl was going to be participating in the exercise. Before Yawai could respond to either of the cute boys questions, another individual entered the conversation. And just like the other two times it was an absolute cutie! Not in the same sense like that other two boys mind you, but it was an absolute adorable little cat!!!! Using all of her willpower she had to contain herself from letting out a small squee, Yawai simply smiled curiously toward the little cat as he spoke to the others like some type of commander. Wait. A Commander Kitty? OH! THAT'S RIGHT! This had to be the Clever Cat Isamu! And AWWW wouldn't ya know it?! He was even cuter in person!!!!! Yawai honestly wanted to do nothing more than to scoop up the widdle cat and cuddle the smart little thing while giving him plenty of pets! Ahhhhhhh yes. THAT would have been absolute bliss. Or so she thought initially until Isamu said something rather peculiar at the end of his briefing. Yawai didn't miss a beat as she flashed the little leader a cute little smile and nod in agreement towards him but considering she had just heard him repeat to her what she had just whispered to Katai just moments before caused her to internally break out in a panic. Mania ran throughout the girl's thoughts as her brain moved as quick as it could to assess the situation. How had he known!? There was no way that the 1-A could have been on to the two of them this early in the game could they!? No no no no! It was impossible! Unless.... Oh. My. God. Did 1-A spy on them just like Yawai and Katai did!? There was no other answer! They must have known that the two twins had it out for 1-A for awhile. Meaning that the two were already caught in 1-A's ingenious trap. Shit! They were fucking good! But wait. How good were they? Did they know that Yawai knew about what they knew about them? Or did they only know what they wanted Yawai to know since they knew what the duo had been up to trying to know!?!?!??!! ...
..
.
It was questions like these that ran endlessly through Yawai's brain which practically made the girl's head spin. Yawai might have said the jig was up there and then until she felt her little sister behind her tug on his shirt. Snapping her from her thoughts, Yawai flashed the girl behind her a quick smile before turning back towards Isamu and suddenly realizing something that been in front of her the entire time. It was Isamu. He was a cat. IT WAS ISAMU. HE WAS A CAT. ISAMU WAS A FUCKING CAT. Which meant....could he just moments before... simply just have overheard her? That was bad. Not for the initial reason of him being privy to her future plans but rather something entirely else. Why was he even listening to her in the first place? And wait! So did that mean he was constantly hearing other people out in the open who whispered personal and sensitive things to each other? WOAH WOAH WOAH! THAT WAS AN INVASION OF PRIVACY MISTER! Not that Yawai was in any position to complain mind you! But still! How rude of him! What if Yawai had said something not meant for the ears of boys or something ya know!??!?! Geez! What a naughty Kitty! Yawai was going to have to punish him later! But for now, it was fine she supposed. After all, she hadn't said anything too bad...right? Nope nope nope! It wasn't anything too bad! Plus! What was wrong with a little healthy competition right? But she did make a note to mind what she said while he was around now. And the final person to approach them was, of course, Yawai's Adonis. Towering over everyone else, if Yawai's ability had the added caveat of affecting her body, she would have melted from her body growing soft. Butterflies hit her stomach as the bright bastion of everything Yawai ever wanted in a guy began to talk. Eyes glossing over as the girl struggled to keep her senses about her, Yawai couldn't help her thoughts from wandering as the guy described his abilities with words that invoked all sorts of feelings from the girl. Fast. Hard. Tough. Oh god. He really needed to stop. Even if he was ranked as 853 online, he could be her number 1 any day of the goddamn week. While she was kind of out of it while he talked, Yawai's brain subconsciously did it's best to process his words. But it was no use. She was getting too caught up in just how perfect he was. Though her face was relatively unchanged save for her eyes, Yawai was just about gone until her body swayed backwards oh so slightly. Bumping into her sister, Yawai's eyes perked up just a tad bit as she turned to look at her timid sister behind her. Freeing her from the hypnotizing abilities that Satou obviously possessed, Yawai gave her head the slightest of shakes just as Satou began to finish up. She couldn't let herself fall for a guy like him. Even if it was EVERYTHING she wanted, Katai was more important. Plus, this was class time and thus was also GAME TIME. Which was why Yawai began to address everyone and answer the questions that she remembered they had asked her after the cute little Teresa spoke her piece first. "Well thank you for the greetings everyone." The girl began with a small bow and little smile. "My name is Yawai and this is my cute twin sister Katai. She's a bit shy but dontcha worry about that! I usually do the talkin for the both of us anyways! Anywho!""I can make things soft and my sister here can harden her body basically. As for fighting, the two of us are likely better on the rescue portion of this operation...""Though... I've been known to be quite... versatile." Yawai would add towards Satou as she gave him a wink before getting back to business. "The two of us can pretty much handle ourselves. You can rest easy about the civilians as the two of us can probably protect them so long as buildings aren't being dropped on them." Yawai said with a little chuckle. "As for teach's abilities, well he's never shown them to us. We've had a few of these training exercises before but they were usually held with other teachers so unfortunately we can't help you there."

"You're becoming predictable, Meka."
Truthfully, he hadn't expected the bastard to actually attack him before the class even began, but it certainly was by no means a surprise that Itsuka Meka would attack him. Some time ago, the action would have been hostile, an attempt to kill (the other teacher wasn't exactly innocent of that), it certainly hadn't evolved much besides now they better knew each other and their limitations. The strike was returned with a well-met guard, a spike of red energy lashing out at the air around him, sapping in the impact like a sponge. He almost wanted to let it rebound, smack the bastard with a taste of his own medicine, but the energy was welcomed instead. He was feeling low for awhile now considering his life's less eventful turn.
"Even after all these years and you still can't land an actual hit on me." Not exactly true, but that was well besides the point. Knocking him through a wall when he was not expecting it, did not count as a win. It didn't. "Trash talking though? Don't flatter yourself."
Kosei could have accused the other man of attacking him, but Itsuka would have simply responded that he was giving him a 'helping hand' with his quirk. It was already bad enough that it was a small peek into what he could do for the students that didn't know. Though it wasn't exactly a spoiler alert nor was it so revealing that anyone would guess what the action itself had been.
Itsuka went on then to explain the situation in the most crass, jumbled manner possible and Kosei didn't bother to restrain his eye roll in response to it. It was simple enough though, half the class would need to do damage control and the other half villain response. "Pick your roles carefully, you wont get a second chance and if you pick wrong, you'll fail." He was far more brief in it than Itsuka, at least. If they picked wrong, it would cost them dearly. And if he was right in his thinking, there would be at least one asshole that didn't understand their role in it or at least jockeying to play hero. And even before he left them to their own devices he could already hear them splintering beneath the desire for leadership, various unintelligible plans spilling for various places. Oh this would be interesting at least. He wasn't necessarily the obelisk of leadership qualities. In those days, his command would have been cohesive and simple: follow me. No 'or', no unnecessary threats, there was no reason to bother explaining the consequences. Everyone that followed him back then knew by example. But... maybe that was not the best strategy for a class of sixteen-year-old's.
He withdrew then towards where Itsuka was meddling with the drones. "This'll be entertaining at least, you make the worst fucking villain."
At that he slid the oni mask over the bottom of his jaw, tightened it, and heard the familiar beep of the energy monitor. Not even a quarter power from that strike.
Pathetic.
He struck out then at the skeletal remains of a damaged building and the scaffolding crushed beneath his fist. The ruins crumbled down on top of him in a wave of concrete and dust. He pushed it off like it was weightless. "If you're gonna lend me energy, you really should do it properly, asshole."
Three more beeps, now that was more like it.
"It's too bad this is first years, otherwise we might be able to make an interesting bet. If you're done fucking around tho I suggest we get this started, I got places to be." |

Find where you belong “...if you didn’t block that hit, you should go become a civ.”
Itsuka replied simply, he was well aware the villainous giant knew he was there well before he dropped down. It was probably instincts, much like his own when he was in combat, and if one thing he had to give credit to the other male for, he seemed to be aware of his surroundings and on the ball most of the time. It was something he had noticed all those years ago, for a bad guy, the other didn’t make as many rash or bad decisions as a lot of the mobs did.
Which also made him more dangerous, in Itsuka’s honest opinion.
“...pretty sure I kicked you through a wall before, did I not land a hit then or did you dive just to make me happy?”
The black haired man uttered with a small shift of deep blue eyes towards the other staff member, he KNEW it was just the other being an asshole but it still was hard not to be baited. As emotionless and unmoving Itsuka looked, he was actually pretty easy to rile up...if you knew how. Certain subjects were triggers and it just so happened the ability to fight or the lack of, was one of them. He was STILL unsure exactly how that time had been different compared to other times, but he liked to say that instance was proof a bad quirk match up wasn’t the end all to a fight…
...opinions he was sure were the extreme opposite of textbook heroics and combat theory, even someone like him knew this for sure. Good thing he wasn’t saying any of this out loud, nor did the student know how he was like!
When he finished speaking, he just KNEW the other teacher was disapproving of his explanation, even though it was totally fine as far as he could think. Anyone who didn’t understand such simple instructions was an idiot, obviously, and there was no need for idiots in the Pro hero world, that would end badly for everyone. He shot the other man a look as if to say “Next time you fucking do the wordy bit” before he walked off.
He could vaguely hear the kids squabbling in the distance but ignored it, trying to make sure everything was good with the “civilians”. He had done this lesson and similar countless times and as long as he followed the instructions Doc had given him about setting these up…
“...and press 9-0-0-0...and the red X button…”
Itsuka uttered to himself and the drone bleeped and flashed red. Yep, seemed like it was fine.
“And you make a fitting one...cos you are one.”
He replied flatly in response to the pathetic attempt at an insult. He moved onto the next drone as he heard a crash and guessed it was Kosei being the destructive fuck he was. He looked up when he was spoken to again to come face to face with the all too familiar villain, Crimson Rook, just like he used to look, mask and all.
“Do you really need that much against 1st years? Or has getting old made you worse than you used to be?”
Itsuka caught a stray bit of debris with his good hand that was flying towards his head rather dexterously, wondering where the hell that came from for a split second before realising it was thanks to the ass punching...oh, it must have been a building that was no longer there. Great.
“...maybe you need to work out more, getting outta shape?”
His tone was as flat as it usually was, but a faint smirk graced his usually blank features as he turned and started to walk back towards the kids.
“...don’t tell me what to do, C.R. I’ve just got you here so the kids have a genuine villain to play with so just shut up and do your job.”
Once he got back to the class, he pressed the support gear on his wrists, head, back and legs and they all whirled to life, wrapping around his form, tail harpoon falling with a dull thud onto the dirt floor. Ugh, it was heavy just to stand with all of it on. He couldn’t be assed to drag himself all the way back from where he came from like this with a good 35 kilos of metal on him, so he activated his quirk, a burst of multicolour lighting up his irises, vision returning to his right side and his form straightening out as strength returned to his whole form.
“So the drones will activate in 3 mins, the screen up there will say when you guys can go. And it’ll also show if any die.”
He explained, indicating to a large digital screen mounted on the wall near the ceiling.
“You got 30mins to save the civs and hold out. You can start as soon as the screen says go.”
With that, he turned, walking back where he came much faster than last time. He’d be lying if he said that his disability wasn’t annoying, but he also guessed it was only himself to blame for it. Come to think of it, had Kosei actually fought him after he had his operation?
...No, at least not properly.
Maybe this was going to be more fun than he thought…
As no one could hear his thoughts, there was no one to tell him picking a fight with the other man wasn’t his role today nor remotely the purpose of this exercise. As the overhead screen started to count down, he took a deep breath.
Guess it was time to play bad guy.
As the screen finished it’s count down and bleeped loudly, Itsuka pulled out his K.L.U.B from his side and released it, the baton morphing into a large, spiked club like weapon. He lifted it over one shoulder with ease, channeling his quirk into strength.
“Ha ha ha...as those useless heroes are not here, we will take over the world.”
Itsuka droned his acting skills were ...something to be desired.
Itsuka Meka’s acting experience: 0
The drones sprung to life, and as the teacher swung at a group of them nearby, they started to panic, some trying to flee while others falling over in fear. To be honest they were pretty realistic even if they didn’t speak, probably about 300% better at acting than Itsuka was.

Post by Isamu Suzuki on Jul 21, 2019 4:52:23 GMT
Isamu listened as everyone explained their quirks and what information they could share, making mental notes while pulling up data on both Meka-sensei and Shiba-sensei on his wrist-mounted computer. This was a problem of resources. They needed to contain two villains and rescue civilians with… 7 students, and a large unknown in several of the students’ and one of the villains’ quirks.
He shook his head to Daiki’s suggestion. “While normally I would agree with that, I think in this case that would be a bad idea. Shiba-sensei’s quirk appears to let him absorb blows and release the energy as shockwaves. Letting them fight would just charge up Shiba-sensei with more energy, which is the last thing we want in a villain fight. That’ll be tricky to deal with. Meanwhile, Meka-sensei has enhanced strength, speed, or reflexes while using his quirk, but doesn’t appear to have a lot of ranged attack options. He’s dangerous, but a little more straightforward to deal with…”
While he was talking, he heard the sound of something crumbling, even before the exercise had started. “… and Shiba-sensei isn’t afraid charge himself up, it seems.” The hologram seemed to briefly show a clip of Meka-sensei and Shiba-sensei in some kind of fight before he quickly switched the image to something else.
The cat-like student frowned a little as he weighted the options. “Apart from rescuing the civilians, Shiba-sensei will be tricky to deal with. We have to take care not to attack him directly, or risk giving him more fuel for his shockwaves. We have to try and restrain or trap him somehow. Wolff-san, do you think you could use your ice constructs to try and restrain him? I think you two—” he nodded to the sisters “—should team up with him. I’m hoping your hardening quirk will let you withstand those attacks of his, and I’m hoping you can use your softening quirk to sink him into the ground or something, or at least make stuff soft so he can’t use it to fuel up his explosions. Ideally we’d want to restrain him so he can’t move and power up. That leaves Meka-sensei…”
For that, Isamu looked at Daiki. “I think you’re the best match for him out of all of us here. Think you can keep him busy? You don’t have to defeat him, not solo, but you can keep him distracted, can’t you? Use your ridiculous speed to dart in and out for attacks, try to land in a few solid blows, but just try to keep him busy and awake from Shiba-sensei. I know it’s a lot to ask, but… we’ve only got so many resources to go around. Just… be careful, okay?” His voice became quitter for a moment. “We don’t need a repeat of last time. …Anyway.”
“For the civilians, that leaves myself, Collins-san, and Tomoshibi-san. Our priority will be to locate and clear the citizens out. I can use my senses to track them down, Tomoshibi to assist with moving the injured if necessary, as well as backup firepower in case the villains get to close, and Collins to move rubble and be backup muscle. Once we get the civilians clear, we can back up Satou.”
With that he pulled up a map of the immediate area and then put the wrist computer on stand-by. “Remember, we don’t have to defeat the villains, we just have to keep them from injuring civilians and doing more damage. If we can delay and slow them down, or distract them, that’s all we need to do until we get the civilians clear. Keep the villains apart, if they fight it’ll make Shiba-sensei stronger. And if that sound I just heard is what I think it was, he’ll try to power himself up as well. That’s the best plan I have given the situation. If anybody has a better suggestion I’m all ears, but make it quick. It looks like they’re getting ready to start and we don’t have a lot of time to haggle.”
Whether they came up with a new plan or not, it wouldn’t change Isamu’s role unless someone had a radically different idea in mind for him. Accordingly, he’d take on the civilian rescue duty, heading off to do that with whatever assemblage of teammates he had at his disposal once the exam started in earnest. He made a note that they needed to have a better way to communicate in the middle of a battle in case they had to reprioritize… He added that to his list of future gear ideas before the exercise started in earnest.

Post by Ren Wolff on Jul 23, 2019 2:38:23 GMT
When Ren approached the sisters, one of them turned their gaze away and then quickly ducked behind her sibling. She left his hand hanging there for a moment, but as more people gathered around it seemed she was becoming more uncomfortable, so he didn't press it. Shyness was something he could very well understand, and it was only since coming to UA and making friends with his classmates that he was able to get a handle on his own social issues. The sister, on the other hand, was far more energetic and outgoing, and after shaking hands introduced herself and her sister. "Yawai and Katai, got it. Glad to be working with you guys today." He gave them another smile and then backed off a bit to hopefully alleviate some of the pressure on the shy one.
Soon enough, the rest of his classmates were busy going over each other's quirks and the general strategy for the lesson. He knew most of their abilities already, but took note of the new information provided by the twins and Teresa, the later providing quite the impressive demonstration of her capabilities. While Ren's combat instincts were fairly impressive, overall strategy wasn't really his strong suit, so he was perfectly willing to sit back while others came up with plans of action. He already trusted Isamu with this sort of thing anyway, since the cat had proven his worth as a tactician of sorts both in class and in the field.
Normally, Ren would have assumed that his quirk would be better suited for the rescue side of the operation; using his ice to make supports, barriers, and dig through rubble, but this particular situation was a bit special. As the cat explained the 1-B teacher's quirk, the German couldn't help but gaze out at the two staff members, who hadn't stopped exchanging barbs and taunts since they arrived. Daiki was right, just putting those two near each other had a decent chance of making them start brawling with one another... Which would have been great if it weren't for the inevitable collateral damage they'd wreak on the surroundings. For the moment, it seemed that the plan was for him to try and freeze the intimidating red head in place. "Yeah, I can give it a shot, although we'll probably have to drain him first if he can just make explosions. If nothing else, I can put up some shields to contain some of the damage."
Truth be told, he wasn't entirely confident, especially not after just having watched Shiba level a building with his bare hands. The fact that he had some backup was certainly a comfort, but to say he had some nerves was an understatement, even if it didn't really show on his face. As he watched the timer tick down, Ren forced himself to take a deep breath and pushed the anxiety to the back of his mind. It wouldn't help any here. Walking over to Daiki, who would apparently be trying to take on Meka by himself, he put a hand on the other blonde's shoulder and shot a grin. "Good luck, Give me a shout if you need a hand. Or a shield." Even if he had his hands full dealing with the other teacher, he figured he could at least make something to help out his classmates if they needed it.
As the timer hit zero, Itsuka hefted a large club, and while his delivery was practically the definition of flat, it did the job of announcing the start to the exercise well enough. As he swung the weapon and the drones started to flee in simulated terror, Ren stomped his foot down and channeled the cold through his body. A patch of ice shot out across the ground toward the teacher and a wall erupted up between him and the cluster of drones he was threatening. Ren figured that should buy Daiki enough time to get the former hero's attention... leaving him to breath out one last deep breath before turning his gaze towards the twins. "Guess it's time to get started. C'mon, lets go." He said, grabbing his Bokuto and starting off towards the 1-B teacher.

It was a good plan far as he knew. So the blond just nodded. "Sounds good enough for me. If there's an opportune moment, I might be able to stun Shiba-sensei with my lightning half. But yeah, I'll focus on civilians." Not necessarily the best, but he could cover the most ground in the shortest period of time. Far too soon, it was time to go. Meka-sensei was the first drone on about his role in all of this. Jun almost stumbled by how flat the guy was. Really? What kind of shit movie was this guy trying to make? Well, at least Ren moved fast by making an ice wall. Jun used his flames to jump over them all, and land next to the first civilian. "Everything's going to be alright, come with me and I'll take you all to safety!" The first robit did as was told and stuck close to him, but the other two were being panicky and difficult.
Jun ran out of patience and just grabbed one and ran with the other one following obediently. He was taking the long way around to avoid the action. He just hoped the others slowed down Shiba-sensei as planned, and Daiki keep Meka-sensei running in circles. If worse comes to worse, he could do something similar, though would be far more...destructive to the environment. Though at least this was an abandoned industrial yard, so not terribly bad. Though the object was still to do the least amount of damage as possible...

The cat could hear Yawai's whispers from before but couldn't hear her when she clearly stated that the twins would be better on the Rescue Squad?
...
..
.
OKIE DOKIE!
.
..
...
Is what Yawai would say if she was insane, but she was very much opposed to this course of action!~
Hence her inner thoughts being rather....extreme. 'KAMI-SAMA!!!!! WHHHHYYYYY!?!?!?!? Why are you being so cruel to me!?' Screamed poor Yawai to herself as the cute kitty's words hit her ears. She continued to smile outwardly towards everyone but on the inside of Yawai's brain, things were drastically different. Zooming into the girl's eyes, if one stared into the windows of her soul long enough, they could easily see Yawai was in the middle of a rather big internal crisis. Why do you ask? Well that was simple my good friend! It was because the adorable little kitty was presently sending her and her lovely little sister to their deaths! That was all! Nothing more and nothing less! And no matter how Yawai tried to think of a way to excuse themselves from going to their execution, she was drawing a big ol' fat blank. Now sure! She COULD just tell the precious widdle Isamu to go straight to hell! BUT! Then he might blab Yawai's secret plans to everyone! And she definitely couldn't have that! Which meant that she was trapped. Trapped like a rat. Oh. Well that made sense then she supposed considering what the appearance of her aggressor. BUT STILL! IT WASN'T FAIR! Why was he treating them like this!?!?!?!? They were delicate little flowers!!!! Not fighters!!!!!!! Sighing to herself as she gave her head a small shake, Yawai resigned herself to her fate before grabbing her sister's hand and leading her to Ren's position. Given that he was the most experienced of the trio, Yawai would obviously defer to his judgments. "Just stick with me like usual Katai." Yawai whispered to her sibling as she turned to her and shot her a reassuring smile. "So long as we're together, I'm sure we can make it through this like usual!" Yawai added with a tinge of confidence as her smile grew into a cocky grin. Naturally, Yawai didn't think the team had a snowball's chance in hell of stopping 1-B's teacher. But she wasn't gonna make her sister experience the inner turmoil she herself was presently going through. Nope. In this situation, it was likely better to be blissfully unaware of how hopeless this endeavor was rather than knowing one was marching their death. Or so Yawai thought as the two stood beside the young Ice-Maker. Seeing the clock hit zero, Yawai quipped enthusiastically to Ren as she followed his lead towards what could only be described as their 'end'. "Lead the way oh fearless leader!~" "Though to be honest, I'm not sure how much of a help either of us can be to ya in trying to stop someone like Teach...but I suppose we'll just have ta try our best!" Yawai added with a faint smile as the group moved. Still gripping her sister's hand, Yawai would tighten her hold oh so slightly as she resolved inside herself to make sure that regardless the situation they ran into today, that she would protect her little sister like any big sister would. Or at least, that when the time came for Kosei to end them, they would at least go together.

[attr="class","sinner"] [attr="class","sinner1"] [attr="class","sinback"] [attr="class","sinnert"] Class was in session, and Daiki had gotten a last minute genius idea. Just before people sprinted off in their own directions he uttered towards Ren. " When I yell SAUCE, put up a wall between Itsuka and me. Alright? Doesn't have to be massive, just enough to slow down or stop one of his hits. Alright, good luck and keep an ear open." He said before racing off. The distance he had to cover to get to the ice wall wasn't extensive. Not too far from what he could figure by eyeballing it alone. In a moment his quirk ignited and his steps took chunked out of the ground, sending him sailing forward to catch up to the Villain that was terrorizing the good robots of Ground Gamma. Though while the stakes were low the situation was very much serious. This is likely one of the most realistic situations at this point he'd seen in a class. A chaotic battle where villains have been exposed and are just trying to threaten, destroy and hurt to dig their way out of a bind. Together with a team of Heroes, it'd be that teams responsibility to cover every single base. It just so happened he would be fighting the guy that with support gear was very much like him, except better. So he literally only had a neutral playing field in the mind, and even then it was down to wisdom and not intelligence. Information on Hero work and by nature of playing the opposite role of Villain knowing a Heroes weak points in reference to their duties and responsibilities meant Itsuka had a superior intellectual foothold in this engagement. It was all out to creativity and wisdom, and Daiki had left that up to 'SAUCE' which he'd say when the time was right. The distance closed further and further and within a moment Daiki was within five meters of Itsuka who was... Scarily flailing a very mean looking weapon, likely just having smashed that barrier but perhaps not. Needless to say he'd need to get his attention. So in his approach he made no attempt to slow down but he did have the conscious thought to change his approach angle at the last second as to avoid a methodical counter-attack had his approach been noticed, which with Itsuka's experience he guaranteed was. Coming in Daiki attempted to go for quick and light; relatively speaking of course. Dashing in to melee range to send a sharp and singular jab to thwop Itsuka on the back. Frankly, he was expectant of a miss, but hopeful for a hit. While he knew he was putting all his effort in this, he wasn't delusional enough to think that a hit without any clever interaction behind it would land. Unless he was just that immersed in playing golf with robots. Though the point of the attack was that it let him sail on through, sliding across the ground and turning to regard Itsuka fully as his foot dug into the concrete and kicked up some rock to bring his speed to a stop. He spaced out his stance and eyed the teacher down. He must really be looking pathetic right now; some first year loudmouth having the audacity to come up to him alone yet still having the capacity to wear a smile on his face. But he had SAUCE ready for when it was needed. That would be his trump card, his gamble to even out this fight. His thought process was that a sudden unexpected icewall blocking his punch would firstly do the obvious of negating an attack, but if timed perfectly; hence a signal word, Daiki could punch while Itsuka is punching in a way that his fist would connect with the wall first. That would leave his punch to rapidly sail through the destroyed ice wall, having been hidden in trajectory behind the frosty falling chunks to get a massive blow. That was his thought process. If he could land a punch that mean and catch Itsuka by surprise it might really knock him down and weaken him for the rest of the fight. That just might be the gamble that makes this a smaller disadvantage for Daiki, and he had to gamble. So when Itsuka made his move, he'd begin his gamble. Just... That loudmouth kid, out of literally nowhere just... Yelled... " SAUCE!" Teresa simply nodded when Isamu had spoken about a plan. She would be better suited to help clear rubble and protect the citizens using her strength. However, the thought of going up against Kosei-sensei did not sit well with her. One punch from Teresa would give him the edge he needed to go wild, or at least she could only guess. With Meka-sensei's quirk, she wouldn't be able to stand a chance at her current level and so would try to avoid combat with either one. Turning to Isamu as he started to go, she kept to the back and herded along the drones that they already had gathered along with one straggler that looked to be scared out of it's circuits. She sighed with some annoyance, but went over to it to give it as gentle push as she could. Over the years she did get better at holding back her strength in simple actions like holding a glass, tapping something or someone, and other simple actions. The drone had moved along with the others, still seeming to shake, but at least it was moving. Her eyes kept moving around so as to be on the look out for the teachers just in case they decided to attack them as they worked to clear the citizens.
Without talking, Teresa jogged ahead to clear a large piece of metal that was blocking the way. Gripping it tightly, she made sure to be really gentle and not toss it into a place where it would harm anyone. It was not heavy to her and in all reality, her stature did not reflect her means to do what she does. King's Might was very tricky in that it allowed the users to not be so muscled to use it. Though the output was amazing, the drawbacks were not so amazing. The users of King's Might tended to have problems with their heart or problems keeping their energy up. In Teresa's case, her heart and muscles were the main problem. She got hungry from using her quirk, but not as much as others did. After she moved the large piece of metal, she went back to being the lookout and herding the drones onward. She hoped to not have a run in with Kosei-sensei at the very least.

Or so Katai thought, from what she observed in their own lessons with him before today, but she was hesitant to speak up. Speaking would mean drawing attention to herself, and drawing attention to herself was the last thing she wanted, especially in front of all these new people.
But luckily, Yawai was here, and she would sort everything out and make it all okay. She just had to follow her sister’s master plans, and they could get through another day.
Or so she thought, but it seemed 1-A cat had other plans.
They were to…fight?
It wasn’t that she couldn’t at all, just that they had not too much actual experience in it. She understood her role in their dynamic, and it was to be the one to shield and defend. But yes, in theory she could...use that against someone. Would it work? Would a plan someone that wasn’t her twin come up with be okay to even follow? Yawai wasn’t too sure about that, to be honest. She felt her sister knew her more than anyone else so she was the only one qualified to call shots to her, but well…
Yawai did say it would be okay.
So it...probably would be okay.
No, it definitely would be okay.
“Okay.”
She gave a small nod, plodding behind her sister but moving up to be beside her as they moved over to their destination.
“What do you want me to do, Yawai?”
A quick glance was shot at Ren also, but she looked quickly away and towards the unfolding situation instead.

Truthfully, Kosei was curious to see what the kids might come up with in terms of general strategy, if there would be division among the group, or idiots playing hero. It often occurred to him that he himself had never had the pleasure of even being in a hero school, having to do these same lessons. However, he also believed that was what separated his teaching style from the other teachers. His own experience was carved in his skin, in blood and sweat. Of course he'd been the king of all douchebags at the time, and still presumably was...rather douchey on occasion. It wasn't like he was preparing to maim his students but the conventions of these lessons, by their very nature, was unrealistic.
"Of course I dived for you, can't have you losing your confidence." He responded to Itsuka with a simple shrug, knowing that nope the bastard definitely had kicked him through a wall at least once or twice (and it had fucking hurt), but only because the jackass caught him off guard. How was he supposed to suspect unbidden violence from the little shit on a daily basis? It was tiring, really. Itsuka Meka was about as easy to bait as his temperamental six year old (though it didn't help to mention that he himself was the one often being triggered instead).
The redhead rolled his eyes at the villain comment, "It's not about that, you're just a shit actor."
This bastard seriously wanted to fight him in the middle of the lesson, didn't he? Nothing else came from calling him something as preposterous as old, he was EARLY THIRTIES, it wasn't like he was ancient (he was only a few years older than this stunted asshole). Old and Fat?! He barely suppressed his need to punch the jerk in the face. "Fuck you, you're one to talk, gimpy. Can barely stand up in that mech outfit of your's, can you? Talk about bygone glory days. It's not for them, it's for you for when I need to knock your ass out of Beta for being a little bitch."
Okay, so he was definitely gonna kick this bastard in the ass at some point today. And it was lucky the idiot moved on to the lesson or else there might not have even been much of one but a show of them acting like idiots for the kids to watch. The idiot was lucky he didn't have the time, the fucks to give, or the same temper he'd had back in the day (or perhaps he did it was sanded down with parental exhaustion).
It was definitely a good thing to return to the lesson, even if by now he was likely a little too irritated and irrational to fight a bunch of teens. But it was like he believed, the little shits needed to get schooled in reality. Better sooner rather than later, right? Glancing at Itsuka's notorious weapon of choice, he realized the bastard really wasn't one to suggest that Kosei himself was compensating for something.
He rolled his eyes at Itsuka absolutely shitty acting skills, but was admittedly at least partially amused by the attempt. "Keep your day job, astro-prick." He grumbled where only the other could hear.
The students' plan left very little to the imagination so far, at least he hoped there was more to it than this. Split up, half handle the teacher-villains and half do rescue. Reasonable, simple, effective under the limitation of time, but just downright boring. By the looks of things they were sending Icy brat aka late kid (yes, he had noticed), and... the weird sisters? Not exactly what he might have suggested considering their skills.
That just meant he'd have to make things interesting. Improvisation on plans was important, right?
Give the lesson a dose of urgency.
Lazily, he strode to a collection of garbage cans, plucked off one of the metal lids (maybe not flashy, but enough), and then flung it towards the city. It crackled then with red energy, fueled into a burst of speed by his quirk as it curved in its trajectory, passing Itsuka so close it likely cut through the ends of his hair. The lid cut through the heavy wood of a utility pole like a knife through butter, which toppled down into a building to its left. The transformer blew and the explosion smacked hard against the building, sending heavy debris down on a group of about a dozen pedestrian drones that had been huddling within a small cafe.
Truthfully, it was a little more flashy than he had intended and part of him wished he had just hit Itsuka for the hell of it, but he decided to take credit regardless. "That's how you play a villain, Meka." Maybe he was a little too good at this and Itsuka had a point. However, this was a rescue lesson, after all. And the kids needed to start thinking like that. Having effectively finished all the flashy shit he intended to do during the lesson, he tucked his hands into his pockets, figuring it'd only be fair to pull his punches quite literally.
And that was about the time that blondie decided it was a smart idea to go at Itsuka like a herd of stampeding elephants.
"SAUCE!"
Talk about being conspicuous.
He was fairly certain Isuka could easily take a punch, and even if he couldn't Kosei might have been fine letting him take said punch, but their personal issues were usually pushed to the side when things entered professional grounds (usually, at least). And it seemed these kids had it in their heads that villains would willfully leave their teammates for their own agendas. It was the villainous thing to do, after all, and not entirely wrong, but not always right either.
It was the only reason he was stepping in like Itsuka's... meat shield.
Goddamn it, whatever.
So the punch that was likely supposed to be aimed at Itsuka, would instead hit him square in the chest with very little to no effect but to be absorbed like a sponge. Maybe, just maybe the kid would be smart or quick enough to improvise on the change in their situation. |

Find where you belong Heh, he had hit a nerve.
The words that spilled out of the redhead’s lips had clearly told Itsuka that, earning a faint grin on his lips. Though some may think that the ex Villain was being highly inappropriate, that was one of the things he liked didn’t mind about this guy. He didn’t pretty up words, said what he meant, was straightforward. Values Itsuka himself lived by also and when people tried to make some kind of exception for him, he hated it. The fact he had the risky operation to gain the Sensory Direction System was living proof of this, he wanted to be able to do things by himself and be around those who saw him as one of their peers.
“I guess I should be kinna flattered you are still so scared of an attack from feeble, 60%-of-original-output me.”
His monotone most likely simply aggravated the situation but he clearly didn’t care, infact he liked it when Kosei got annoyed because it was a change from that bored, tired, fed up look the other man wore 99.9% of the time.
“Hey I’m...giving it my best...to do the villain thing…fuck you...”
He mumbled as his colleague criticised his acting skill, he was fully aware he was a little stunted on that part… it wasn’t like they were actors, they were heroes, in his defence.
Admittedly, Itsuka wasn’t expecting the villainous bastard to throw a fully powered frisbee at him. Thankfully, specially with his quirk on he managed to move in time make sure it didn’t go through his head, though he felt it so close to his hair that he could have sworn it grazed it.
“The...hell…that was dangerous...”
Itsuka uttered shooting the other teacher a glare. Oh okay, so that’s how he was going to play it. Sure, whatever. If he wanted to do a game of accidents at work and friendly fire, he could totally do that too. Channeling his quirk into his muscles to increase his strength output, he easily threw his K.L.U.B like a large, spiked and rather dangerous javelin towards the nearest drones.
The weapon crashed into a water hydrant on the pavement, hitting and knocking one drone over in its path before narrowly missing another drone who fell over onto it’s butt in shock. The damaged hydrant burst open, water starting to spray all over the near surrounding area. That was when he heard someone approaching, and as he looked up it was that huge lump of blonde, Loudmouth. Oh wow, he was on the attack this time? Well, he supposed as his classmates were not all throwing themselves at the teacher this time, maybe he would have a chance to go on the offense…
Should he tank a hit to see how much he would do? He had a rough guesstimate of the boy’s damage output, but no clear figures. (Had he read those files? Nope. Experience>Words for him.) He was a little curious… he turned and kept his eye on the approaching figure, just to be able to block whatever blow followed.
That was when Kosei stepped out in front of him, taking the hit instead.
“Damn… better luck next time kid…”
He actually felt a bit bad for Daiki, mainly because he had that particular maneuver done to him one too many times. He’d actually listen to his strategist and go after one of the other members of the red headed idiot’s team, and the hulking giant would appear out of nowhere and take the hits that would have easily floored anyone else. But it wasn’t a bad situation, the best use for this tough jackass was a meat shield, afterall and probably if they were a villain combo that's the part this man would have played.
“Are you gonna protect me from all these mean heroes who are coming for me, dear knight?”
He deadpanned as he glanced around, tail-like harpoon whipping around behind him like a live animal waiting to strike.

Post by Isamu Suzuki on Sept 1, 2019 22:30:48 GMT
Isamu, thankfully, was not privy to Yawai’s inner monologue, no matter how good his hearing was. He could make a guess from her body language that she wasn’t thrilled with the plan, but… Truthfully he wasn’t really thrilled with the current arrangement either, but they had to make do with the best of the limited resources they had. He had given them a chance to speak up if they objected to the plan, but even so. They needed some kind of strategy and hopefully this would see them through. Daiki had a… not bad idea with a ridiculous execution. Combo attacks were definitely something they could work on to add to their arsenal later.
He glanced at Katai just before the group broke up. She looked like she had been about to say something… but far too quickly the exercise was staring, and there wasn’t an opportunity to press the issue.
He charged into the scene, trying to use his senses to listen and smell for survivors, directing them to the safe zone as necessary. But something caught his attention as Shiba-sensei charged up the… was that a trash can lid? Wait, he could charge up other objects? More research time next time. He wound up… and Isamu charged in the direction of the throw, knowing that whatever it hit wouldn’t be a good thing. He cursed internally as the lid sliced through a utility pole, jumping up and flinging a couple of glue bombs at the impact site. The sticky substance spread over the wall, holding the rubble together for just a moment…. “Everyone! Get out of here now! Go go go!” He shouted at the drones in the cafe, pointing at the route to the safe zone while keeping an eye on the deteriorating wall. He made sure to get clear himself, glancing back at the battle to see that Shiba had taken Daiki’s blow meant for Meka. Which placed them together, which was… less than ideal. Unless they had a way to take them both down simultaneously. And even worse, while they had potential powerline issues here, over there was a rapidly flooding street.
He hesitated for a moment, battling with himself to prioritize the issues. He wanted to get his teammates to break the two villains up, but he couldn’t do all of their thinking for them. And he had assigned himself to dealing with the civilians, so perhaps he should stick to that. Even so… “Collins!” he shouted to the student. “See to those civilians and take control of that weapon!” Even if they didn’t end up using it, they could keep Meka-sensei from throwing the damn thing again. He still had that tail as part of his gear, but at least he couldn’t throw that.
For his part he did his best to keep sweeping along the perimeter of the villain fight, hoping to clear the immediate area in case either teacher felt like throwing more debris around.

Teresa vaguely kept up with what Diaki and the others were doing. She had to trust them not to be overzealous and do something stupid. However, as she cleared rubble and gathered drones from the rear, she noticed that the teachers were tag teaming and defending each other. Did villains look out for each other? What an odd thing to do for people who were supposed to be on the wrong side of the law. Perhaps there is more I need to learn when it comes to relationships and bonds... Even the villain type of bonds made her wonder. However much she wanted to look at what the teachers were doing to maybe learn a bit more from them about fighting tag team, she kept her focus on the area around them while Isamu did his thing. She herded along the drones to get out of there as fast as possible before turning back to stand beside Isamu and watch as he kept more damage from happening around them. Tightening her gloves, she nodded to Isamu as he told her to grab the weapon that Itsuka was using just moments ago. It didn't look too heavy, but her lifting limit was pretty high as it was. 3,500 pounds last time she checked. In any case, she started to run towards the destroyed fire hydrant. However, a car was in her way so she picked it up. In a moment she wondered if this would be a good idea, but if she gave Daiki any edge she could, then their chances at getting the civilians would be higher. Silently as usual Teresa lifted the car and felt the normal strain since she tries not to push herself to her limit too often. She was putting her entire quirk to work right now on full blast. "Daiki-san, everyone, be ready to go!" Uncharacteristically, Teresa had yelled in front of others. A small look of both determination and a weird hard look entered her gaze as she aimed the car at just past Itsuka. She did not want to hit him, only distract him for Daiki and the others to get a leg up at least a bit.
She grunted quietly as she threw the car towards the two teachers, but it would soar at least two feet past them on their right side, not meaning to hit them at all. As soon as the car left her hands, she booked it towards Itsuka's weapon and gather the frantic drones. As soon as she gripped the odd weapon tightly, she lifted it. She expected it to be lighter judging upon how it looked, but it did have a least a little weight to it. Then agian, to Teresa, it was hard to gauge weight since her quirk allowed her to lift up to 3,500 pounds at a time. She felt the familiar burning sensation of her muscles as she had just let go of her limit weight. She would need to talk to her father about seeing the doctor soon; she had been reckless with her usage of her quirk recently. The weapon was easily lifted and now she was herding the frantic drones towards Isamu. The water was making her gym shirt wet and she wanted to sigh in her irritation. She did not mind the water, but did not like when her clothes got wet. Luckily she was wearing an under shirt that was black underneath it. Her chest started to feel heavy. It made her stop for a moment as she put her hand to it as her eyes widened slightly at the realization that was coming. If she didn't hold back and stop lifting cars, then she would be on the receiving end of a very bad medical condition. However much she wanted to keep helping distract the teachers and keep them away from the drones, she knew she had to just play her part and be the back up muscle.
When she had made her way back over to Isamu, she showed him the weapon she had collected. She kept it safe in her possession as they moved along. "As you said, Isamu-san, I have retrieved the weapon. However, once Meka-sensei realizes I have it, he might come after me. We should get moving to keep the drones safe from the ensuing chaos and out of the teachers way." Her tone was almost as if a computer was talking. Logical and emotionless was the words to describe Teresa on a daily basis. "Though if I have to, I will break it to keep the threat from coming back." Teresa had nodded to Isamu, trusting him to keep things moving as she played her part again of back up muscles. She had to be careful not to do much more than defense for the time being; best not to make her downsides worse than they already were. "Whatever happens, please do not stop if I happen to freeze. However, if I do drop to the ground, there is medication in my backpack I need to take." While she didn't need to tell him about her medication, she would rather he knew than to not be able to reach it herself later on.
