To feverishly declare my feelings

Clack clack clack click Click clack clack clack click click
The whole apartment was silent, save for the sound of fingers hitting keys, and a mouse button being pressed every now and then cutting through the early morning lull, though anyone inside this particular building would not have been able to tell what time of day it was, nor what the weather was like outside as heavy black out curtains covered every window, keeping the whole area in a permanent stasis of nighttime.
The inhabitants of the place simply preferred it this way, they were both creatures who didn’t find daylight at all appealing or pleasant in the slightest.
Click, clack clack-
The typing paused as the man who sat in front of 3 monitors paused for the first time in hours and a lone click saved his work, commands flashing on the screen as the computer did its thing.
“Already... this late...”
Admittedly he had been a little too absorbed in his work and hadn’t been paying any attention to the time, he probably should go to bed soon. Had he already gone to bed?
Usually the other male said something to him before he went to bed, it was a strange, unnecessary gesture (at least in Aya’s opinion.) but at the same time... it wasn’t unwelcome. Sure, it probably meant his lover had to repeat his name a few times or phase his hand into the hacker’s head to get his attention, but once he was aware it felt... nice that someone was saying goodnight to him each day. It was the sort of warmth of being involved with another human that the other man had taught him, even if at times the lesson was more painful than anything else imaginable, it was also rather wonderful.
The villain stood up from his PC chair, a soft clunk as the reclining mechanism popped back into place, even such a small sound seeming loud in the silent apartment.
“Sen...?”
Aya called out softly as he walked into their living room, moving towards the sofa where the other man usually could be found. And as expected, he was there, though he seemed to have fallen asleep while watching something on his phone that now was out of battery and had partially slid out of the black haired man’s hand and resting on the seat below him.
Well, this explained why he didn’t get a goodnight visit today, it was quite a common occurrence for Aya to stay up well beyond Sen’s bedtime (the other usually would pass out the moment the sun rose outside and only rouse again when it was setting.) but normally the other made it to their bed, at least.
Picking the phone out of his partner’s hand, he pocketed the device before gently shaking the man’s shoulder.
“Sen... let us go to bed properly...”
The older male sighed, though the very faint ghost of a smile on his lips betrayed his true feelings despite his monotone. The other man didn’t even stir- and if he tried too hard to wake him, he possibly had an extremely disgruntled, oversized shadow demon cat on his hands and he wasn’t sure that was worth the effort.
“Honestly...”
Aya sighed to himself, though he was far from minding much at all, just if the other male carried on sleeping here he would end up with a sore back of neck and he wouldn’t hear the end of it. He leant over, scooping him up in his arms and lifting him off the sofa.
The sleeping man hardly reacted as he was moved over to their bedroom, though the moment he was placed on the bed he starfished out, it explained why he always woke up entangled with (or under, or suddenly woken up early hours of their day because he was grabbed in his sleep by Sen.) the other man when his bed manners were like this.
At least it made it easier to remove the layers of clothing the other had on that would get awfully creased if slept in. It was pretty easy for him to do, a few taps of his fingers against clothes made parts unzip and unbutton in unison before wriggling, sliding off and flying into the wash basket in the other corner of the room.
Supposing he should get ready for bed himself, the villain left the room to do just that.
Once he came back into the bedroom, his own clothing fell away in the same manner, his mobile phone that had been tucked in his pocket sliding out and flying towards the bedside table, coming to a halt and hovering over the surface before plopping down gently and precisely into the charging dock, all the while Aya was brushing his hair out of its tie.
Glancing over again at the sleeping man, he noticed his partner had outstretched an arm towards his side of the bed, as of inviting the other to place his head over it. The violet haired man obliged the unconscious offer, sliding into bed and laying his head down on the pillow, but not before giving one last glance at his phone screen.

| Oh.
Today was...
The 3rd of September.
That fateful day they had met.
A year ago, today, around this time, he was wearily washing off blood from his body in the shower, with the distinct feeling of unease that a stranger was in his living space. It felt like only a few days ago, but at the same time an eternity may have passed from then till now.
At some point, somehow, that unease dissolved into normality, then melted and seeped into his being to a vital, necessary part of his life. How did it happen? How did someone manage to ghost into his heart like this? Aya wasn’t sure at all, it was a totally unplanned and uncalculated anomaly.
But he didn’t hate it.
Whether he was willing to admit it or not, the hacker never had chosen to be alone up till now. It was just the way it had ended up, and he had accepted it as fate, almost.
Which was laughable when one thought about how he was staining his hands in the most criminal acts to fight a certain planned fate, a certain life others had selfishly forced upon him, to be free.
But with matters of love and personal relationships, he had given up on even entertaining the thought of it...
...until this person came crashing into his life. (Almost literally.)
Long, slender fingers reached out to faintly trace the sleeping man’s jawline, he wanted to know everything about Onishi Sen, inside and out, physically and emotionally. He wanted to monopolise the knowledge, be the one who knew the man like no one else and in return reveal his everything to the other, if he so wished.
“You really are...so beautiful.”
Like all fatally dangerous things, Sen glistened breathtakingly with the kind of allure that forbid you to look away even for a moment. Aya could only hope to help him keep burning in such a way, so they could set the world aflame. He could do it if he planned well enough, no, They could pull this off for sure.
“Happy anniversary, Sen.”
He said softly, he wasn’t sure he could ever say stuff like this when the other was awake, it felt somewhat... embarrassing. The violet haired man leaned in, pressing a kiss on the other’s deceptively soft lips.
“Thank you for being with me... I love you.”
