She wondered what quirk-related events Kogami was referring to. Maybe it was just one of the subjects covered in class. Sigga did not relish the idea, showing off her quirk in front of others. Either half of it. Though, it was the memory manipulation part that she was mostly concerned about. The girl would prefer to keep that bit a secret at school. The idea that her classmates wouldn’t form strong opinions about her once they found out she could potential read their thoughts seemed unlikely. Maybe it wouldn’t be the worst thing ever, being avoided by her peers for as long as she attended UA. It would be lonely, sure, but she had been alone before and got through it just fine.
Sigga waved back to the pale boy as he began walking back down the hall. When he vanished around the corner, the girl took another sip of the Dr. Poppor and fished out her phone from her pocket. Her thumb quickly tapped away at the screen. Chatting with a classmate had given her quite a few things to think about, and the student wasted no time in trying to gather some intel.
Silently, she leaned against the wall opposite the vending machines and slid towards the floor. Once seated, she placed her drink on the floor next to her and read the reply to the question she had posted in the student-chat. She hadn’t expected one so soon considering most students were in class. She looked quizzically at her phone, uncertain if the information presented was fact or speculation. Why couldn’t people respond more clearly and succinctly? Whatever. She’d figure this out later.
The girl rose back to her feet, accidentally knocking over her drink. Fortunately nobody was around to hear her expletive. She snapped up the can before more of the sugary liquid spilled on the hall floor. What a pain. She sighed angrily and slid her phone back in her pocket, distracted from her train of thought.
There was only one reasonable course of action here: be on her best behavior. She already knew there were camera’s covering every inch of the school. Whether they were manned, and consequently her actions actively monitored, was something she had yet to investigate. Sigga took another sip from her now significantly-less-full can of pop, then marched off to find some paper towels.
