Airin Bekka flinched at the nearby explosion, pausing briefly to check the unconscious student who she dragged into the meagre cover provided by a turned over car. She peeked furtively out of cover, watching the progress of the training robots down the street. They looked like the familiar ones which usually took part in the training of heroes, yet appearances could be deceptive... They happened to be much more resilient and capable than their standard counter parts. The unexpected resilience caught many of the students taking part by surprise, Airin herself included. Admittedly she had not been in the first wave of attacks, due to her quirk serving more as a support role rather than say something more suited for the front line.
Another detonation sent Airin ducking back again. This is getting crazy, Airin thought to herself. She glanced at her unconscious charge, there was no way she could move them without taking a hit. Nor could they stay here... That left only one unthinkable option. Distract the machines and draw them away.
She swallowed, taking a deep breath and darted out of cover. "Hey! Over here!" Airin yelled at the top of her voice, the petite figure stood alone in the open, standing in the middle of the road. The robots turned to face the new target in the open. "This way!" She shouted, sprinting away as fast as her limbs might carry her. Airin wished her Quirk gave her super speed, but alas she did not, healing happened to be her unique power. A nearby explosion sent her flying, Airin rolled across the ground. "Ow." The young hero muttered to herself, groaning as she attempted to push herself up from the ground. This idea was not going as well as she had previously hoped it might.
