Rafael is of that of a free spirit, he tends to be very optimistic loving the world for its natural beauty. Whether it is the large cities or rural farms Rafael is in love with beauty itself especially the beaches due to his upbringing.
Rafael is for the most part a social butterfly, not afraid to make his presence known nor is he adverse to making new friends. But when he isn't mingling with the masses he likes to dive into a good book.
Villainy is ugly it taints the image of the beauty in this world and to cleanse the world of this taint he wants to train to be the best hero he can to lower the threat of villainy at least in his home.
To some it could be seen as cowardice but to him he sees it as preserving beauty but due to using his quirk he realized he doesn't always look the best when beat up so he tries to, you know not get beat up even if he needs to make a "strategic retreat and try to reengage."

Rafael was born into a very loving family, not the most rich but well off enough to enjoy life a bit.
By the age of four his quirk had developed when he was playing at a park and happened to fall off the monkey bars after messing around on them, when he fell he could feel him self get light headed not realizing he was bleeding until he saw a figure standing over him as he fell asleep. When he awoke he found himself to be back in his room and not remembering how he got their he questioned his parents to whom were a bit shocked by the development themselves when they saw it. they explained to him to the best of their knowledge that his quirk had allowed him to create a clone of himself using his own blood as a catalyst.
Due to being of mixed decent his parents felt it would be good for their only son to know and understand his roots, which meant that he would travel to and from Palma, Spain and Aberdeen, Scotland. At the age of 7 his parents started bringing Rafael to and fro between Spain and Scotland. Both of these places where his parents grew up was when Rafael was first introduced to nature in the sense of the mountain ranges in Palma and the lush green fields of Aberdeen, not to mention the beautiful lights the shine through Aberdeens streets at night. All of these sights made the young, impressionable boy fall in love, made him want to strive to see more of the beauty around him.
When he found out that his parents were moving to Musutafu, Japan for a job transfer he was ecstatic since the only scenes of nature and the cities were on the internet or talked about in detail in the various books he would like to read. When coming to Japan, Rafael was 9 at the time, he was so taken in by all the new sights, smells, the new experiences in culture especially the food. He was able to settle in fairly quickly taking three years of private tutoring to learn how to speak Japanese as well as get up to speed on the learning so he can go to school at the age of 12.
When going to public school during his first year Rafael had learned about the rise in villain activity especially in Japan and felt quite perturbed by this, fearing that if things were not going to get better with the current status quo that he would put his time and effort to protect the beauty that he fell in love with as a child. He would become a hero in time and he would aim to protect the precious sights and cultures that made him strive to explore.
Through training his body he wanted to fight not to harm others permanently but just to debilitate them since harming others could ruin their aesthetic and that was not his style. He focused his style solely and rescuing and detaining. If he felt the need he would learn other styles but he has not felt a need to...Yet.

Carries a bolas in his waistband used mainly to incapacitate and detain,
his Hero suit is a WIP so far it contains arm gauntlets that have place holders at his forearms for blood bags so he can intake blood if he ever feels himself getting light headed. Rafael has not yet gone into an actual costume design yet.

Rafael is able to take a portion of his blood in order to create subtle duplicates of himself. These duplicates can last anywhere from 1 to 3 posts. The clones look good enough to pass as Rafael. When killed they will dissipate. They can act without verbal direction and can understand that Rafael is one of them.

Rafael can only create 3 at most before he starts to feel lightheaded.

The Chains of Beauty

Rafael's clones will try to surround the opponent and launch their bolas at the opponent. The aim of this skill is to immobilize the opponent long enough to be detained or knocked out. This ability can only be done with at least 2 clones out already.
