Rise Karbowski when she decided to go to an ordinary high school after taking a break from her music career had been offered security, a bodyguard. It was not like she could not afford the expense of one, but she declined on the grounds that trying to fit in at a high school was going to be difficult enough, without her own private security adding to the matter. Whether it was pride, ill health or whatever had effected her decision to decide against having a bodyguard, Rise never had cause to regret that particular decision. Until today, but such regrets in the grand scheme counted for little if she did not manage to get away. She took the stairs of escalator three at a time, ignoring the shouts and cries of protest from the other customers at the mall. She could apologize later, once she managed to get away and put as many doors, walls, cities and continents between herself and the villain. At least she hoped it was one. The protests and angry shouts were rapidly replaced with cries of alarm and screams of fear as the villain followed after the music icon. Unlike Rise who was restricted to stairs, elevators and escalators as a means of ascent or descent, he could fly.
The distinct buzzing of his four gigantic dragon fly wings seemed to fill the air. He had missed his first few attempts to grab Rise, who whether by quick reactions or sheer blind luck managed to evade his grasping talons. He had an insect like head, most of his body appeared to be protected by purple green chitin. Though he was wearing battered blue jeans, so maybe he transformed into this? If so, maybe Rise only needed to avoid him for a certain length of time? Assuming of course he was working alone, which was a big assumption.
By now alarms were starting to blare, adding their mournful cry to the chaos. Not for the first time Rise regretted being born without a Quirk, even the most basic and weak of abilities would have been useful in this situation. But alas, she had none, her greatest defense came in a single can of pepper spray, which given the foe she faced maybe a can of raid bug spray would have been more effective against.
"Where are you going Rise?" The flying villain hissed, his mandibles clicking as he spoke. "There is nowhere for you to run too that I cannot follow!" He taunted her, perhaps believing he had time to play with his chosen target, before kidnapping her. Maybe there were more villains and he was simply herding her towards them. With a sudden burst of speed he landed in front of the petite girl, blocking her from bolting down a flight of stairs. Rise skidded on the tiled floor and dove into a department store, several customers screaming in fear as the villain gave chase. "You can run Rise!" The villain shouted. "But you cannot hide!"

Wenn das Auge nicht sehen will, helfen weder Licht noch Brille.
Izaak's search that originally brought him to Tokyo, Japan now had him searching in Musutafu. It was exhausting, and costly, to keep up this quest that Izaak brought upon himself. However, he got by in fact, that is why he was at the mall in the first place. Replacing the items he used to fund this never-ending trek. During his last scuffle with a villain, a few of the glass orbs in his duffle bag had become broken, and while he could perform the therapy with five orbs... he enjoyed having eight. Besides, he had a bit of free time until he could find someone to verify the information he received. He patted the large messenger bag that hung to his side lightly, in it was a single orb so he matched the size of his others, his German to Japanese translation book, his vigilante costume, and his wallet. It wasn't until after Izaak had finished his shopping until he noticed alarms and screams erupting through the mall. Hearing cries and screams from civilians made his adrenaline skyrocket. In the madness, Izaak took cover to change and to stash his bag, safe from harm's way. Once changed, 707 charged back into the fray. The chaos of bodies charging here to there just added confusion. 707 needed to find which way he needed to go to be of most help. It wasn't until he realized, the villain was in a department store down the corridor. So that would be the way he ran towards. I only have about three-quarters of a reserve... he thought, I will have to play this wisely... 707 didn't speak, just helped civilians in the area find the exit by pointing and motioning. It would take way too long for him to look up the phrase plus worry about his pronunciation. Plus, hoping that any folks around spoke English would be a far stretch.

Fleeing into a department store probably was not the greatest move on Rise's part, but she did not exactly have an option as to where she could retreat too, where she could fall back. The villain was able to fly, few things restricted his movements... Unlike her, who happened to be bound by the capabilities of an ordinary human. Okay, she might be able to sing well, but it was not as if he voice could use sound as a defensive weapon. She ducked down and hide inside a rack of clothes, feeling her heart pound in her chest whilst she attempted to control her breathing. Rise heard the villain as he crashed about the store, searching for her, hoping to find his future kidnap victim. Rise had no intention of allowing herself to be snatched away by a villain for who knew what reason.
She could heard more than see the villain as he progressed with his search. Rise realised now might be her only chance to sneak away and make a break for freedom. Surely by now a hero happened to be about right? Police? Mall Security? Right now she would even have been happy to see the military or a rival villain who merely wished to ensure the plan to kidnap Rise failed. Any port really.
She slipped as silently as possible out from her meager hiding place as she attempted to slink away. Rise kept glancing warily about to keep an eye on where the villain was. At first it appeared that she might be able to escape without being spotted but a shout of triumph from the villain and the rapid drone of his wings signaled that he had both caught sight of her and happened to be closing in. She bolted for the same entrance she used, skidding round the corner and outside, the villain almost close enough to be able to grasp her. Had he not caught sight of the hero, he probably would have. But he halted sharply, landing on the ground and starring at the hero mandibles clacking. Rise wasted no time in hiding behind the hero. "He's after me, you have to stop him please." She managed to gasp out.

Wenn das Auge nicht sehen will, helfen weder Licht noch Brille.
707 guiding the last, or what he assumed were the last folks out of the department store, all the while keeping his senses open to where the villain may be in the store. He stayed near the entrance, thinking it was the best plan of action for now. 707 saw a young lady running towards the front, with a villain close behind her. 707 golden eyes glared through the visors he wore. A bit of disappointment surfaced when he realized it was not the villain he has been hunting, but almost instantly got shoved back down into the depths of his gut. 707 glanced at the young woman who is now behind him, "Don't worry, I'll save you," he stated with a strong German accent and a small smile upon his face. He slipped off his coat and swooped it over the young woman. "It is flame resistant," he stated cooly and quietly to the young lady. He hoped she understood he was there to help. Heroes shouldn't have language barriers... 707 chided himself. All the while 707 made sure the young lady was safe now, he kept the villain in view at all times. "Just stay behind me," 707 positioned himself in front of the girl, between her and the villain. Bug quirk, it should be a sinch with the light and heat quirk he had - however with a reduced reserve and being indoors, 707 himself was at a disadvantage. Currently he just keeps himself a wedge between the young lady, now draped in his coat, and the villain. Watching the villain ever so closely. Each time of his mandibles clenching shut, 707's muscles tightened, ready to fire off a shot at any given moment.

Rise managed a breathless nod in reply, finding herself encased in the comforting folds of a heavy coat. "Don't let him get me." The music idol added, taking an involuntary step further back from the villain. She did not know the hero or the villain, but it was the former that really mattered. He would protect her, that after all was what heroes did, they saved those in need. She let the hero position himself in front of her, no doubt he attempted to make it as hard as possible for the villain to get at her.
The villain remained silent save for the clacking of his mandibles, apparently content to study the hero and his quarry. Perhaps he happened to be considering the odds, comparing his chance of success against his chance of failure. After all kidnapping one solitary, ordinary and quirkless human should have been incredibly easily, especially given his own Quirk. But it appeared today was anything but his lucky day. Now with a hero on the scene, standing between him and his goal, it just made things even more difficult.
For a heartbeat, it looked like the villain was about to speak when without warning he suddenly kicked off the ground and took flight, flying up then diving straight down towards the hero, 707. Evidently, he had decided it was worth a risk, trying to take the hero out in one go, then hopefully being able to grab Rise and escape before any more heroes or law enforcement showed up to put a stop to him.

Wenn das Auge nicht sehen will, helfen weder Licht noch Brille.
Almost as quickly as the insect villain charged at 707, a Sonnenlicht platzen was formed in his gloved hand. The high heat of the 8 inch ball of light singed at the flame resistant material the gloves were made of. To which, upon the oncoming villain 707 pitched the ball, aiming dead center for either his face or chest. In case he had missed, 707 turned on his heels and scooped up the young woman that was still draped in his coat. Putting more distance between the two of them and the disgusting bug who had targeted her. The reason for 707 grabbing onto his coat instead of the girl herself was because the palm of his hand was still heated at an uncomfortable temperature for most. It wasn't as hot as it would have been if they were outside in the sunlight or if he had a full reserve, but unfortunately that wasn't in the cards at this current time. Depending if his single Sonnenlicht platzen had hit fully, it could have delayed the villain a bit. Considering if the ball had hit entirely and was not put out, it could leave some severe burns. It would not have been strong enough for second degree burns, but definitely hot enough to leave a blistering welt. If 707 was serious about taking the villain out in one blow, he probably would have used a different attack. However given the current environment and company, it was a little too dangerous to try. He needed to put some distance between the young woman and the villain and remove them from a department store battle ground. 707 continued to run and carry the young lady down the long hall of the mall. He skid around the corner hoping that he was heading for an exit of the mall.

The ball of fire struck the villain dead centre in the chest, knocking him back and burning the various pieces of carapace. It resulted in the villain crashing to the ground and rolling over onto the floor. Rise did not see this however, swept up in the hero's arm and protectively swaddled in his coat she did not feel the heat. She tucked her head down against his chest, shielding herself against what she believed to be the attacking villain by hiding herself against the hero. She let herself be carried, having little choice in the matter and it was probably far wiser and safer to be carried by a hero, especially with a villain actively targeting her. It appeared though that they might just make it.
However, the villain started to recover from the earlier attack. He cursed and clambered to his feet, wings buzzing angrily. His chest burned painfully from the hit and he leapt into the air, taking flight and trying to cut the hero and Rise off from the exit before they could escape. The villain knew that they were running out of time, if he failed again there would be no more time to attack again, they would need to flee rather than continue the attack.

707 was hesitant in his next move. With the bug villain catching up to them, he shuffled the young woman in his arms to be carried one-handed. In his now free hand, he began to form another Sunlight burst, just as big and as hot as the first. With just the right turn, 707 could throw another sonnenlicht platzen. If his aim were to stay true, he’d hit around the same general area as before. His first heated light attack obviously did some damage to the villain. He saw that while the creep buzzed up on them. ”It is going to be alright,” 707 said, in hopes to soothe the young woman. Coming to the end of the corridor, he would set her down. ”I’ll hold him off, if you go,” he pointed towards the doors. One of them should be the exit, right? He thought as he spun around to face the oncoming threat. He could do more than just a single attack now that he was no longer holding her. Honestly, it was only one additional move at this point, he knew he was getting low on his stored reserves. This bug needed squashed, and quickly.

Rise wanted to believe him, her heart still hammered in her chest from fear, terror, adrenaline and relief. Someone had arrived just in time to prevent her from being kidnapped by a villain. She had no idea as to why they might want to kidnap her. Maybe they wanted to ransom her off? Draw out another hero? Or heck maybe some crazed media reporter type simply wanted an interesting story so hired a villain to come after her. In her terror filled mind anything seemed possible. She wanted to object to being sent away, to him staying behind but she was not a fighter. She had no Quirk and she doubted the hero could easily defend himself or her with her being there. Especially since she was the evident target of the villain. She had been about to speak with the villain appeared at the other end of the corridor. Rise stared at the insect like foe for a few heartbeats then bolted away as fast as she could manage. "No!" The villain hissed as it flew down the corridor, jinking from side to side in an attempt to throw the hero's aim off.
