PERSONALITY

Calculated Chaos: Warlord believes firmly in the ideals of controlled chaos. That the best way for the world to grow, is to constantly be burnt in the flames of chaos to be reborn anew, so long as those flames have someone who is intelligent enough to prevent them from rampaging across the Earth into oblivion. Warlord believes he is that such person and has no qualms using controlled chaos as a constant means of testing the mettle of those around him, manipulating outcomes in his favor, or clearing the board if things get rough.

Brutality: Above all things, Warlord is a vicious killer and sadist. His dishonorable discharge states this clearly, as does his chosen method of retribution. Warlord honestly feels that maximum shock value and damage value is the best method for accomplishing one’s goals, even if that means many are used as collateral in the process.

The way of an Assassin: Warlord is a very experienced killer and because of this, has no feelings of remorse or hesitation when it comes to death. As well, he believes death is an excellent tool in accomplishing his goals. Whether it’s eliminating those that would get in his way, or manipulating those that he’d like to exploit, he has no qualms about using the finality of death to his advantage.

Impatience: Above all else, Warlord is a fairly impatient man. He was notoriously coined as ‘The short killer with an even shorter temper’ behind his back within his squad and it tends to be his downfall, often causing him to push things forward at a very accelerated pace, regardless or not if he’s ready or not for the blowback of such actions.

BACKGROUND HISTORY

Born in a Military base in Fussa, Warlord’s life was chaotic the moment it started. His birth father was a Marine that was stationed in Fussa who had gotten together with his mother but left via dishonorable discharge before he was born. His mother spent a lot of time trying to hide her shame but the locals said she disgraced the natural customs, causing her to isolate herself and Warlord at home a lot. Around the time he was 8 years, rumors started spreading and various military men would attempt to come in and see his mother. This is when he’d first learn of his Quirk’s true application as he’d unknowingly use it to copy and try to fight them off her when they tried to drunkenly advance upon her.

Warlord would then spend time watching war and martial arts movies, trying to understand how his Quirk worked with it but it didn’t help much unless he saw actual people. So he’d get into a habit of regularly starting fights on the base. It wasn’t until he was 17 that he would be noticed by a Japanese military official, using his Quirk over a period of a few weeks constantly fighting and winning against various enlists that were staying at the base. He then offered him a deal: He’d give his mother a good life, off the base using Warlord’s military salary to support her if he enlisted. It didn’t take long for him to say yes.

He’d quickly climb up the ranks of the Japanese special forces Scout Recon division, using his Quirk and knack for observing others to keep tabs on various high priority targets around the world. The thrill of the hunt and the execution of targets began to breed a strong thrill for death in brutality in Warlord however that even his superiors were beginning to notice.

One night, this brutality would nearly cause an international incident. While tracking a target, he managed to escape into a local village. Warlord’s commanding officer would then command him to abort the mission and return. When he questioned why, his commanding officer informed him that a prince and other members of that country's royalty were also in that village, the prince staying in the hospital. Warlord then decided to disobey orders and under the cloak of night, rigged the local hospital with explosives and used it as leverage to demand they release the target into his custody. Upon them doing this, he then executed the target and detonated the explosive, killing dozens including the prince. Warlord was immediately dishonorably discharged and court martialled but did not stick around to suffer the consequences of said actions.

Instead, he murdered his commanding officer’s family for putting him in this position in the first place, and then set up evidence so it would frame him for the murder. Ever since that incident, Warlord has been periodically involved in conflicts around the world, providing his services to both sides of war time conflicts and often executing those that would dare to accuse him of playing both sides, officially earning the monikor “Warlord.”

Military Go Bag: A recon backpack with multiple carry compartments. It fastens tight to the users back to not weigh the user down with moving weight. It is used to carry most of Warlord's weapons and ammunition.
Pair of large, curved short blades. Would be considered short swords or daggers for most with 12in long blades.
All purpose cloak: Cloak can e used as cover against weather and changes in terrain, cover and concealment for weaponry, and is made of fire resistant, strong fibers that make it durable against normal wear and tear and combat conditions. It is resistant to weather conditions and to brief interactions with fires up to 120 degrees.

COMBAT MEMORY

SUMMARY:
Combat Memory is a unique Quirk that imbues into the nervous system and nervous fibers many, advanced memory synapses that connect to every cell in the body. As a result, Warlord’s nervous system has an ability to ‘memorize’ experiences and have perfect recall relating to them. This memory is unilateral over any sense and as a result, if Warlord sees someone else utilizing skill or working with technology, he too can also imprint that knowledge into his own nervous and muscle memory. Because of this, if he observes anyone consecutively using a skill, martial art, working with an item, or performing a certain routine, he can memorize it and then, imprint it onto his own nervous system and muscle memory, allowing him to duplicate it himself.

WEAKNESSES/LIMITATIONS:
Warlord is still human and is still not superhuman in any way. He is unable to copy actions or abilities that exceed human limitations. As well, he is naturally mortal and vulnerable to broken bones, bullet, and any damage that a non-superhuman could normally take. Warlord has to observe the skill be in action for at least 4 posts before it becomes ingrained in him for the duration of that thread. In order to permanently learn those observed skills, they must have been encountered by that individual in 4 separate threads. In addition, any skill that isn’t his own, he is unable to train. The rank he memorizes is the rank it stays at.

Also, this is a sensory Quirk. Meaning if his senses are altered by a substance or by the effects of another Quirk or they are obscured, his Quirk is incapable of being applicable against others while his senses are impaired.

RANK/LEVEL: B+
SUMMARY:
Warlord is a formally trained member of the Japanese Special Forces. Because of this, he has a very well rounded combat training background. Warlord is very knowledgeable and skilled in hand to hand combat both with his bare hands and with knives. He has martial arts and hand to hand combat skills equivalent to a Special Forces soldier, and is very skilled in the usage of knife weapons in close quarters, able to effectively defend himself against trained combatants.

RANK/LEVEL: A-
SUMMARY:
Warlord is an extremely accomplished reconnaissance Ranger of the Japanese Special Forces. Able to move in multiple environments and avoid detection as well as track multiple targets over large spans of area, Warlord’s skill in scout recon is where his prowess shines. He is very capable of detecting when he is being followed or tracked by those without training. This translates to his experience and training to be able to pick up on irregularities in the environment, such as tracks, the sounds of footsteps, or dispersal of dust.

RANK/LEVEL: C+
SUMMARY:
Warlord is a skilled field interrogator. He is trained in getting information out of individuals in a short period of time as well as reading information off others on short notice. Longer interrogations his technique begins to falter and result to torture if he starts to get impatient, however.

His usage of interrogation techniques allows him to be able to ask questions that are designed to get the information he seeks. If against a restrained target, this goes further to being able to causing harm without causing actual damage in order to extract information through suffering and other psychological interrogation techniques.

RANK/LEVEL: B-
SUMMARY:
Warlord as a Scout Recon trained member of the military, has a lot of experience in the usage of the Arisake rifle. He is accurate at standing targets within 500yards and moving targets within 200yards. His maximum distance is nothing compared to the elite snipers of the special forces however, he is knowledgeable enough as a sniper to understand how to determine range, trajectory, and usage of his rifle.

RANK/LEVEL: C-
SUMMARY:
Warlord has basic training in the handling, disarming, and arming of military and improvised explosives. He isn't capable of rigging advanced detonators or creating high grade explosives from scratch however, he has a basic enough understanding of explosive materials and detonators to make crude explosive devices that are often fairly unstable and to be able to discern real explosives from fake explosives.

SUMMARY: 

Warlord has comprehensive military training in the usage of firearms. He isn't no rapidfire marksman however, he has standard training in the handling of handguns, and small firearms. He prefers to use them only when forced to however and is only accurate with them within 30ft.
