Akasu had a really bad feeling about today since the morning. He wasn't even sure why, but he was dreading going into work today. Maybe he should just call in sick? No, he really couldn't do that, that would be irresponsible. Then, when he got into his office in the morning he saw it. Afternoon period. Ground Beta. 1-A. With. Itsuka.
Meka.Sensei.Oh god.He already knew what would happen. 1st years, being first years would probably overreach, and Itsuka, being Itsuka wouldn't hold back anywhere near as much as he should. He did understand the other man's POV, yes, in maybe even less than a year these children would be facing real criminals and they weren't going to act nice because of a student, in fact they would be targeted. That was the harsh reality, hell, even just wearing the uniform had sometimes in the past made students targets of villain activity. But it did make his job a hell lot harder... He had messaged a certain third year student to meet him at Ground Beta at a certain time when he could guess, from past experience he would get some 3 word message from the Heroics teacher along the lines of "S.K. Help. Quick." And that was why, with impeccable timing Akasu Naibun, the school nurse along with Mikaku Dokumi from 3-H walked into the dusty training ground. Mikaku needed more practical units to pass his final medic course anyway so it was actually a good thing. "...alright. Stop where you are. Those of you who can move, come to the front. Those of you who can't... I dunno just sta-"
The support hero sighed as he heard that deadpan voice expertly guide the next generation of heroes. "I will be with them shortly." He said curtly as he walked up to the building that had a blonde girl standing in front of it. He just decided to ignore the fact the ex hero wouldn't quit calling him a weird shortened form of his hero name instead of Naibun-sensei as he was meant to... "Dokumi-kun, can you treat the smaller surface injuries? I'll see if anyone is seriously injured." "Ok~s Naibun-sensei~!"
The third year flashed him a smile before he stood next to the blonde girl- he knew the drill by now, they have been doing this for 2 years now. "...Yeah, think we got one over there."Itsuka waved somewhere further away and Akasu sighed. This man, as strong as he was, had always been like this. It probably will never change, unfortunately. "Okay, 1-A! Those of you who have minor or surface injuries, please go and stand by Dokumi-kun. If anyone has any broken bones, stay where you are, I will be with you shortly." He shouted, his voice was surprisingly clear and travelled well.

Post by Isamu Suzuki on Mar 24, 2019 5:30:06 GMT
Isamu was feeling fairly pleased initially as he caught up with Ryuga after she had made her announcement. They had won: they had rescued the civilian and returned him to safety, against a teacher who was seemingly going all out against them. (He’d have to do more in-depth research on Meka-sensei, but that was for later.) He hadn’t gotten involved in the fighting—too many flames and powers being thrown around for his liking—but one of his specialty skills had come in handy, allowing for the quick rescue of Bacon once he had gotten free. He’d chalk that up as a win.
… At least until he and Ryuga went to rejoin the others, and he caught scent of the aftermath of the battle.
Blood.
A distressingly large amount of blood.
He clamped a hand over his face, turning away and trying to hold his breath for a few moments while he processed everything. The fur not covered by his costume was sticking up on end, with even his tail frizzing out.
Okay. Focus. Explaining it will help. Just turn and look and…
Bone, he could smell blood and bones. And there was Hone-san laying on the ground, ribs… “Oh god what happened to his ribs.” Bones were definitely not meant to stick out like that. But the rest of his chest wasn’t torn open, that he could tell—lots of blood, but no or very little gore—so that must have been deliberate. Clean breaks, straight up and down. His eyes darted over to their sensei and there… Scratches and bone fragments. Some kind of capturing move? Doesn’t appear to have worked, and judging by how Hone lay crumpled on the ground, far too risky to use in a real situation.
That… was probably going to hurt their marks.
Other things of note. A large swath of burnt ground, and the stench of burnt ozone. That must have been Jun’s doing, since Ryuga had been with him. That was a very long and very wide burn mark. Origin probably from… in front of the building out, to keep Meka-sensei away. So if Jun and Meka had been there and there, then directly along that line was… Daiki, who was… over there, seemingly unharmed, at least. At least not moreso than he had last seen.
Their formation had been all wrong. They had overextended and injured themselves. Key party members had been left unguarded save for last-second interventions. They had saved the civilian, at the cost of all of themselves.
“Hoden-san, I don’t think we’re getting very good marks for this exercise.”

Had Suzuki-san said nothing, Ryuga might have not paid any mind to it, kept being blissfully ignorant of what had transpired. It made sense in her mind to do it, and Suzuki-san seemed to agree! Save the captured civilian from the heinous villain's grasp. It all made sense in her head to achieve the goal while the heroes could fend off the villain until they returned. It made sense to do it that way, right? So why, when Ryuga saw the red mist on the battlefield, the rushing nurse, and her crush moving to Hone-san in a worried sprint, did she feel the victory so hollow? Ryuga felt her lips curved downwards. Turning her gaze to the dirt, and back to Bacon, she pet the pig. This victory was bittersweet. Tucking away the piggie's head away, she listened to the nurse speak, and Ryuga gave a nod over to Suzuki-san. "... I..." she couldn't say anything else. The adrenaline had stopped finally. It was after that point, Ryuga realized she didn't know how to apply first aid. At least, not to the level the nurse could. Or not be as helpful as Seraphine-san. Ryuga, in this instance, was useless. All she could do was blast people away with her Dragonlung and cause destruction. And while she went to go over to Dokumi. Her eyes downcast as she held the pig, petting him ever so gently. Heroes had it rough. This is likely one of those instances of complexity that a hero often faces. Ideally, everyone would be saved. But in this instance... had it been a real villain, Hone-san may not be alive. As well as Satou-san, Tomoshibi-san, or Seraphine-san. ... Ryuga held Bacon closer. Intending to talk to Dokumi for her throat and its scorching. But she stayed quiet until he got to her. The difficulties of a hero never end, do they?

Post by Taka Hone on Mar 25, 2019 12:55:55 GMT
Their professor was unforgiving.
Gravity, even more so.
As Meka broke through the cage that had been formed around him, Taka immediately dropped to the floor. By creating the cage, he had used all the bones in his arms and legs, meaning that as soon as the grip the cage created had been broken, he hit the ground with a hard thud, right on his hips, breaking them instantly. However, Taka didn't notice how much his hips hurt as they cracked, uncushioned by his boneless legs under him. He was already in far too much pain caused by the braking of the majority of his ribs by the teacher.
However, as he fell, it seemed to him as if he were moving in slow motion again. But Raph was singing his green song now. His thoughts became punctuated by watching as the bone fragments that had been broken off fell around them, as if they were gliding down airlessly onto the floor.
"No...Come back to me...I need that..."
Hone continued to drift down, his eyes watching as his ribs moved further and further away from him, smashed, much like his hopes of continuing this fight.
"If you come back, I can fix this...I can still stop him..."
Finally, Taka struck the floor, feeling his hips bend slightly before swiftly giving and shattering upon the hard concrete. He hadn't registered the pain, in truth, it was doubtful he could register any feeling, but he could feel the sudden strain and give laying within his joins. As the rest of his form, he couldn't think of he had gone numb through the chemicals running through his body to prevent the pain, or simply by the fact he had failed to stop the villain...
Again...
"Please...Please come back to me...I've got to stop him...I've got to save them."
As his head finally came crashing down onto the floor, he could feel his brain sloshing within his skull. Thankfully he had decided to at least keep his skull intact, although that didn't stop the thought running through his head. What if he had thinned his skull a little? Even just using his teeth? The bones in his ears? Every last little bit to make the bones a little harder. To delay Itsuka just a few more seconds. Why couldn't he just give a little more? But would it have even made a difference? He had failed three times in a row.
His plan was almost instantly shot. Daiki had to save him from death. His one useful moment, cut out in an instant.
He had failed everyone.
Just like he always did.
As his head cracked against the floor, his vision started to blur. He could have sworn he could hear Raph calling out to him, but it didn't matter. Taka's eyes were fixated on the bone laid before him.
"Come back...to me...we can...still go..."
He watched as his vision started to turn dark, but he held onto that vision of the bone before him.
"I need...more..."
Hone attempted to call out for it, as if it were a dog misbehaving and not listening to its owner, but he didn't have the strength to open his mouth, let alone call out.
"Come...back."
Suddenly, as his vision finally blacked out completely, he watched as the bone fragment began to shake, ever so lightly. Could it be listening to him? Could he actually control it? Or was it more likely that the ground shaking from everyone rushing around was causing it to shake?
Perhaps it had not moved at all...
Taka didn't have the energy to think, and as he finally passed out, his mind sank back into thinking how he had failed again...

"TAKA-SAN!!"Once Raphael realised that the other teen had lost consciousness, he stopped singing and instead switched over to what he could recall from his medic course. Check over for injuries... Well that was bleeding obvious what was wrong, There were fragments of bone sticking out of the boy's chest, broken while the other half was on the ground scattered around him. Blood. A considerable amount of it but it seemed it was mostly stopped now. The only issue was, basic first aid aside, Raphael's quirk didn't work on an unconscious person, so he couldn't do much about the bones that were jutting out nor the exit wounds. Oh my godOh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god Oh my god What am I meant to do? What can I do right now? What is expected of me in this situation? What should I do? What can I do?? What is correct?? Was this my fault? It was my fault wasn't it, I didn't do my best I didn't train hard enough...now my inadequacy has made Taka-san end up like this and what should I do now? What How Why When Hurry up think of something Raphael what in the world are you doing?? HelpwhatshallIdowhatcanIdointhissituationIdon'tknowwhydon'tIknowwhycan'tIthinkstraightwhyamIsouselesswhenthisisallIcandohelphelphelphelpIdunnowhattodoIdunnoIdunnoIdunnoIdunno Raphael simply sat on the ground before his fallen classmate, eyes wide, body shaking as he took deep gasping breaths, his hands had frozen and he was stock still, which were of course not the correct things to be in an emergency situation like now.
"Seraphine-kun? Seraphine-kun?? I need you to move...."
He could hear voices around him but it felt so far away, distant to his ears as white noise filled his head and his vision seemed blurry, fuzzy.

Holy moly.
Gone was the ability to recklessly move, a mix of emotions were upon him that otherwise caused him to freeze up a little and avoid going after Itsuka. After all, he'd stepped out of 'character' as he put it to save him, even though in the process he ate some more stone. To think Jun would do something as reckless as that, he reckoned quirk control no matter the stakes was necessary to avoiding collateral damage, and if not for Meka it was a fifty fifty if he'd have with his injuries been fast enough to dodge or have been blasted and scorched away. Regardless, with the teacher showing up in order to help him in the way he did, Daiki just waited. When he'd start to go back from the building he wanted to replicate the circumstances they were in prior so that it felt honorable and fair. After all, no villain unless they were less than a villain and more like violent family would save a hero in the midst of combat. So he would make Itsuka's circumstances at least a bit more appropriate.
Still, it didn't really matter. Daiki wasn't necessarily sure if this particular setback was the cause of Ryuga making it to the finish line, but the entire situation seemed to be over. Coming back to full focus and realizing his own predicament Daiki peeled his limbs from rock and sort of collapsed down onto his closed fists and knees. Several ragged breath later along with the entry of various support students and heroes and he'd force himself up to his feet. Walking to the front he didn't appear to really have any broken bones, worst might possibly be some obscure fracture in a place not his legs, but even then he really was a bonehead at the end of the day. Just wandering to receive medical treatment he'd lazily raise a thumbs up towards Ryuga and Isamu. Despite everything the two of them had acted completely in line and did what was necessary to get them the win, even if with the sudden change in direction it didn't quite feel legitimate.
For the moment his body was covered in bruising on further investigation. There were welts particularly on his back and sides from rocks that had chosen not to just crumble on contact but take a bit more pressure until they gave way, digging into his side first. Bits of blood streaked down from the sore and tender skin, it wasn't really pretty but compared to someone like Taka his issues were in relativity minor. He'd just wait quietly to receive medical attention, not wanting to pull anyone away from helping someone in a worse state. He could swallow the pain and wait just a few more minutes. That was the least he could do right now.

Jun was deadpan on the teach "saving" Daiki. He wasn't in any danger to begin with. But oh well. He lifted up his hand to properly aim a fireball. Only for Taka to get in the way. And do the most awful and disgusting thing he had ever seen. Reminiscent of a horror film. That stopped him cold and make him pale. Which only highlighted his growing bruise on his jaw. He felt bile rile up, but luckily he kept from throwing up. That ended when Sensei BROKE TAKA'S FUCKING RIBS! The chibi blond lost his lunch and his breakfast as he heard Ryuga said she got the pig and to the building. Thank the gods above. Then he heard that the doctor was here and so was Mika-senpai.
Immediately turning to Senpai, Jun spoke with tears in his eyes. "Mika-senpai! Look at what Sensei did to my face! And TAKA! MY GOD TAKA! IS HE GONNA BE OK?!" His cries became louder and his screams were known to all due to how much his jaw now freaking hurt. Surface wound it may be, but Jun might as well had been stabbed. He did NOT deal with pain well. And then there was Taka. He was gonna have nightmares about that tonight. WHY IS HIS QUIRK SO FUCKING GRUSOME! He only hoped the guy would be ok. This was really bad. Even if they did get the win it really seemed to be too much of a pyrrhic victory. Though he did have to congratulate Ryuga and Isamu on their parts. They were the real all stars here.

"1-A have quirk control with Meka-sensei this afternoon, if you could assist me in first aid that would be very much appreciated."That was the message Mikaku received from the man who usually oversaw his medic qualifications. Quirk control, first time, huh?"Haha...that's gonna be...tough on the little guys..." He couldn't help but laugh lightly to himself, remembering when he was in 1st year the sight he was met with when he entered that training ground was... something. He could laugh about it now, but admittedly even for him he had been a little overwhelmed with the sight of his peers in pretty bad shape, and he liked to say he was good at playing it cool. That was also the first time he had met Ryuusei, come to think about it. Though he didn't have many external injuries, the older Himura was also totally KOed and sprawled out on the floor, which was something he still teased the other teen about to this day. Well, if one was to find out their backlash on overusing their quirk, Quirk Training was the place to do it! better here in the safety of the school then on the roadside while on placements! Though Mikaku understood that wasn't exactly all that simple to think of in that way once you were shoved in the middle of the situation and upon entering the familiar training grounds, the third year was met with the rather familiar sight of utter chaos- poor first years crying, screaming, sobbing, generally looking like their souls had left their bodies. Though for Mikaku who saw this every year he knew it was just the start, the first important step to all of their heroic careers. Pulling out a dark blue vital from his pocket, he downed the whole contents as he walked over to where he could see Meka-sensei with a bunch of (the surviving?) students. Uh oh..."Afternoon, my cute kouhais~!" He announced with a grin, bright pink eyes looking around as he did so. Ok, so apparently some student that may be major the Nurse was already getting to so he just had to treat these guys right? "I'm Mikaku Dokumi, 3-H! But you call call me Mika! Or Mika senpai! Your remedy to all your hurt is here~" He had to laugh a little at his own catchphrase as he winked. He didn't even say the whole thing, but he thought it was kinna catchy! "Hey Jun-kun~ What's wrong babe?" He asked ruffling the boy's hair a little. As he did so he was actually inspecting the boy's face, sliding his hand down to gently touch his jaw. It didn't feel broken. Maybe Meka-sensei was actually holding back these days afterall... "Mmmm... bruising huh? Any other places you got hurt?" He carried on talking as he pulled away, his eyes going to the other students. A tall guy and a small blonde girl. And a cat. They did have obvious surface injuries but what else? He needed to make sure. "Okay class A~ Those of you who miraculously are perfectly fine, stand by Meka-sensei and the rest of you stay where you are I'll come over!" Cerise eyes spied only the cat declaring himself as unharmed. "Ayyy not bad! Last year we had what 4 KOs?" He laughed as he patted Jun's shoulder lightly. "Hey, it'll be fine. Naibun-sensei's gone to look at your classmate so he'll be fine. I'll be right back, so stay here for me mmk cutie ♥?" The support student said softly before he went over to the tall blonde guy. "Hey dude, you ok? What in the world did you do to yourself?" He laughed signalling him to take his top off. From what he could see he had some injuries to the upper part of his body. Though who knows, could be more than that. "If you can sit down uhhhh... over there?" Mikaku pointed to a low ledge.

Whenever Meka-sensei actually pointed out a injured student, it usually meant bad, bad news. With that sinking feeling in the support hero sighed and jogged over to what looked like one boy on the floor and another hunched over it. Both were worryingly still and silent. One seemed to have lost most of his bones. The other seemed to be frozen where he was, his support equipment hovering around him. This one seemed rather unhurt, at least physically. "Excuse me." He said, gently but firmly moving the blonde boy out of the way. A clean break of the rib cage that somehow was outside his body, but no sign of it being ripped out of his body meaning it was some kind of bone protrusion quirk. The small stubs of bone sticking out of the teenager's chest was slowly oozing blood, though it seemed to have calmed down a little. Akasu pulled out his phone, messaging for a stretcher to come to Ground beta ASAP. "S...sensei..."He could hear the other boy speak to him shakily now, probably in shock from seeing his friend injured. Well, patient’s pulse seemed fine, he wasn't going into shock the blood looked like more than it actually was, he was hesitant to heal up the exit wounds as he was assuming once this boy gained consciousness, the bone should retract back into his chest. A gelling solution would do for now... Pulling out a pair of surgical scissors from his kit, Akasu removed the boy's clothing before taking a better look at the injury. He could only assume that the long white things scattered around the floor was... this boy's ribs as upon further inspection, it seemed the child was missing... quite a few bones and that wasn't just in his chest... "I...I didn-""Can you pick up those bones off the ground, please, Seraphine-san." "A-Y-yes!!"As the blonde scrambled to follow the request, Akasu pulled on some gloves and used the solution to at least stop the bleeding and form a soft, gooey layer across the boy's wounds. This would have to do until they got him back to his office. It was better to keep children's minds busy rather than let them wallow in their self failure- if he recalled from the notes he read on the first day, the blonde boy had inherited a form of his mother's quirk, basically making him a field medic for the rest of his hero career so this would be something he would have to get used to and rise above. "H-here, I...I think that's all of them..."A bundle of clearly human bones were handed to him. "Thank you. Don't worry, your friend should be fine one we get him woken up. From what I can see, he simply overextended as he seems to have channeled...most of his bones into his chest... The bleeding isn't as severe as I expected from this though, I assume that was one of your quirk effects?" All they could do now was wait for the stretcher robot to arrive so he thought it better he spoke a little as a person in the same field of support. "I...I'm sorry...""Don't apologise, just do your best. Apologising like that makes it seem like you didn't. And once you do your best, even though in this time and age where we medics all have quirks...what happens, happens. Just keep your mind clear so you never regret not doing something for someone, is that clear?" Akasu knew exactly how the blonde felt right now. Probably the Dokumi heir did also. They all did. "And if you look like you are going to faint, it will make everyone else worry, won't it? You aren't injured are you?" "Y-yes Sensei! And...um...no...""Alright." Was he doing the whole coaching thing right? He wasn't even sure.. However, the moment was utterly destroyed moments later by obnoxiously loud sirens, though it wasn't actually sirens, but a voice recording of someone...imitating sirens... "NEENYOO NEEYOO PLEASE MOVE OUT OF THE WAY MOBILE FIRST AID STRETCHER COMING THROUGH!!"...he wished Dr.Shisutemu's inventions were...a little less disruptive at times... As the moving stretcher halted next to them and it's legs collapsed helpfully so the young student could be put on it, he tried to find the switch to turn the siren feature off. Was it here? No... there? Oh god why were all the controls smiley faces and not words?? "Need help?"Akasu looked up to see Itsuka staring at him with his usual emotionless face. "Yes...thank you Sensei..." He had to admit it would help to have the other man to move the patient onto the stretcher. He did wonder how hard the other man had gone on this year's first years... "...did you..." "Was only rank C. Dropped chara twice. Promise."Akasu sighed in relief at that. Well, it was an improvement from before when he used to use far more force... "...alright. Well I'm going to take this student to my office, I think Dokumi-kun has everything under control?" "Seems like it. Thanks S.K. Bye.""And get Dokumi-kun to look at your injuries, Meka-Sensei..." "Nah, it'll be fine.""...I insist." "...""I will inform Hiyake-Sensei that..." "...Fine."A faint triumphant smirk played on the Nurse's lips at that. It worked every time. "Seraphine-san, I believe you should go and join the rest of your class. In fact, I would help Dokumi-san with first aid where possible." Akasu suggested before he pressed a few buttons on the stretcher, making it go back up to waist height before it started to move and he followed it. Thankfully, the siren feature seemed to have been turned off though the small screen on the handle read: Destination: U.A Nurse's office.

Daiki would immediately make his way towards the ledge to take a seat with a light nod of his head. Memories of the immediate past were what was on his mind, considering what he could've done different. That breaking of character from Meka-sensei really threw a stick in things, since generally a villain wouldn't do that. Unless in sick irony Nidhogg and Ryuga would be made an example of in the near future. His hands gently gripped that ledge to either side before he realized he should probably lift his shirt. After all, most of the fabric on the side to which he'd braced himself was shredded and in tatters, his shirt only held up by one side and some resilient scraps of the other. Those scraps did make it hard to tell just how severe the injury was and Daiki's thoughtful instead of pained expression didn't help anything. When he lifted his shirt it was a wonder he was thinking at all, perhaps the intensity of his active attempts to think back on the events that just transpired helped to delay the onset of pain along with the offset of the battles speed and intensity.
With the shift being set aside, his right side was covered in cuts and scrapes, those added up and weren't the biggest of the wounds though. There were a couple gouges and really painful looking bits of quite literally stone that were partially jammed into his side. Not deep enough to reach his ribs or anything, and a lot of it was just tiny gravel that'd gotten meshed in like a bead pushed into wet clay, nothing a cloth and careful attention couldn't brush out with some obvious discomfort to the wounded. Those injuries transferred over to his back even somewhat, showcasing more cuts, embedded stones and scrapes. His right side was just a mess, functional but... A mess, and incredibly painful looking. None of it was bad enough to warrant permanent damage though, maaaybe some of the worst of the injuries would manifest as a small scar, but even then. Looking up towards the third year that addressed him he came back to the present and with it did come that pain. His face contorted in a wince before he could get his reaction under control, exhaling slowly. He'd speak up.
"Thanks man, I appreciate it. I caught Taka so he didn't well, end up like one of the previous years students. From what I can tell, anyways. He was going to smash into a stone wall and I didn't know if he could take that, so I took it for him. Maybe there was a better way to go about it, but that's all I had in mind. Though I guess I do feel a little cheated that he held back, oh well." He said with an uncharacteristically serious tone, his shoulders sinking a little as he just kept his attention on the ground while presumably his injuries were attended too.
"Oh, right. I'm Satou Daiki, 1-A. Nice to meet you Mika-senpai."

It was their first lesson, so all in all it was expected. Maybe to the first years it was a large shock to the system, but it was how it was going to be from now on. Sure, some instructors may have explained everything first, then done the exercise but Itsuka wanted to see the personalities and tendencies of each of his new students in their primary, uninfluenced form.
Being someone who never really was academic himself, he believed it was easier for them all to experience things first, textbook later. After all, only your body was going to protect you and your friends when a real situation was on hand.
“Alright, 1-A, listen to me while you get treated and stuff. I’d rate most of your quirks to be fine for clearing this lesson, just one main thing you all need is teamwork. You you know what the biggest difference is between heroes and villains once you’re out there on the street? When there’s more than one of you, that’s back up. Villains very rarely trust each other, even when they are forming like groups and stuff. But heroes can work together. They need to. We can’t use our quirks to their maximum at the best of times cos...laws so you gotta synergise better. Or you or even worse, someone else is gonna die if you mess up.”
A hard single vibration told the ex pro hero he had hit one of his red words. Oh well it wasn’t too bad in context, right?
“You guys clearly dunno each other’s quirks. What are you doing? Learn. You’ve had enough time to know each other haven’t you? We all have strengths and weaknesses and even though we gotta learn to cover them, for this year you guys really need to know what you can and can’t do, what you’re good at and what you aren’t. ...what your limits are.”
It was a good thing none of these children knew of the teacher when he was their age. He learnt the hard way once he became pro of all the things he was saying now. And most had been hard lessons paid in blood, something he didn’t want even these young idiots to have to go through. There were enough damaged people like a certain teacher here who were the result of facing harsh reality once they graduated, and he felt like it was one of his main jobs to reduce them.
“You can do fancy stuff like the unexpected or things not in your usual repertoire after. You guys need to do the basics first with basic formations and set ups. And don’t ever overreach. 10 years too early to be doing that. Think about it- if you’re badly injured, passed out or dead, that’s the end isn’t it? Heroics isn’t all about being the one that looked like you did the most or is the most flashy or whatever. It’s about doing what you can do to the best of your ability and I’m here to help you so for godssake when I tell you something listen. You probably think I’m an asshole and-“
Another strong buzz shook his leg. Nah, that was ok too, right...?
“You may not agree with the stuff I tell you but do it while you are in my classes. You guys are here for a reason- if you think you don’t need any instructing and not willing to listen just go and take your provisionals exams tomorrow and become a pro hero already.”
He felt a prod and saw Mikaku smiling at him and he shook his head. But the third year stayed where he was and the former pro hero knew the support student would snitch on him to Akasu and say he refused treatment which would be another lecture so he sighed, nodding. He looked back over to the class as he felt drops of blood on his wounds and that annoying itchy sensation of them closing up.
“...we’ll be doing the basic simulations like this every year in the first month after the new year starts. That way you can see your progress. For the record that was around 20% of my full power, equivalent to a C ranked villain. And I think there woulda been around 2 or 3 fatalities if this was real. That’s the reality of the power gap between you guys and a villain right now and most of the guys your gonna be up against come internships are gonna be usually ranked C+ or so. You guys are still in the tutorial, this ain’t even close to real life yet. Gonna up it to 60% next year. And if you’re still here by third year then you finally can try this at 100% then it’s no more games, if you die you wil actually die.”
He looked up at Mikaku, giving a small bob of the head to say he was fine now. He felt like it was a waste to use the student’s quirk on himself when he could just heal but... oh well...
“That’s all from me till next time. If you want personal feedback ask. Even if not today, if you need me... usually can find me in the 2-B homeroom. You guys can go now.”
He gave a long exhale, pressing a button on his backpack which started to dismantle and retract his support gear, his headset doing the same once the side was pushed. Ugh, he was tired now, he wanted a nap... his eyes slowly faded to their usual deep blue as the rainbow of light dissipated as he turned his quirk off, plunging the right side of him into silence and darkness once more. This year’s first years... were kinna interesting to say the very least. And seemed like a fuckton of work. But well, most of the best heroes were at some point...
