Where The Boats Go By Futaba Himura Where the Boats Go Small Boats, Large Boats Elegant Boats, Decrepit Boats Strong Boats, Weak Boats Healthy Boats, Sick Boats They All Travel They All Go to the Same Place We wonder Where the Boats Go They all go to the same place Futaba knew that if she was going to be a hero, she needed some sort of support gear. After the invasion, or whatever happened to the school, she had overused her quirk. The headaches got extreme, so extreme that she spent some time in the infirmary. She mostly took a migraine shot and some aspirin. She had been stuck in her bed for a couple of days but she did not miss any class because of what had happened. The school had to get themselves sorted out like the rest of the city. She did not mind the break though. She had been exhausted. The extra days of rest made her feel somewhat refreshed. After getting into contact with the support studies teacher and bouncing some ideas with him, they set up a meeting between the two. Fu had been very nervous about it. It felt like she was taking a huge step in her life. Being let back into hero course and getting a support item set up for her, it felt like Futaba's life started moving at 100 miles per hour. Everything decided to happen in the last few weeks. From fighting a villain, getting back into her course, and a support item; her life was moving fast. Sitting in a random chair in the support classroom, she was looking over the drawings the teacher had provided. They had agreed on something that would minder her headaches rather than something that would enhance her quirk. The headaches were the biggest issue when it came to her quirk use so it just seemed natural for her. Most of the designs were a sort of head set that would play certain tones that supposed to help with the headaches. She kind of understood the theory behind it. Soothing sounds or music would be subtly played to her to sooth her head. There were several designs that he had given her. From as subtle as small ear pieces to a full helmet. Futaba was more partial to the smaller designs. The one that spoke to her was something that tied into her band that she usually wore. It actually looked like the band she had but had small ear piece extension that blended in with the band. "Really like the band design, Doctor. Did you guess I wore bands like these in my hair?" Futaba asked, looking at the design again. Futabab forgot that her school picture shows the red band that adorned her hair. It was a nice afternoon. The sun shone through the windows of the classroom. Students were walking past the classroom, either leaving for home or the dorms. Everyone sounded happy as the weekend was approaching and they could get some rest from the bustle of the school. She could even hear some familiar voice. Not from hero course but from General Studies. Even though she was back in hero course, she was thankful her time in General studies. Without it, she probably would have not grown as much as she has in the past few months or so. Pushing the designs up the desk, Futaba got up from her chair. She felt thirsty and she needed to get some water. Moving away from the desk, Fu looked over at the teacher when suddenly things started getting blurry around her. She had not even noticed that her head was hurting. Making her way past a few desks, Fu muttered "I'm going t-to get get get some w-waa-" Futaba was not able to finish the sentence as her legs gave out as she collapsed in front of the teacher's desk.

[attr="class","aodmain"] Sweetest memories. It's funny. Yori woke up today. Instead of grabbing his flask, he decided to get a cup of coffee. That was a first. Not that Yori ever got drunk for classes, but it was clear he needed his flask more than coffee. But today, he had gotten better. It felt like a step in the right direction. Maybe, he thought, today was the day he cracked the case. To find out about his daughter. [break][break] Ah, but fate is cruel, no? Why, upon our happiest days, despite how one can smile so vibrantly within the purest sun's light, they are subject to the harshest of events. Today was such a day, because Yori, finally in one of the best moods in his life, was having this lovely little meeting with Futaba Himura. She was the 1-A readmitted student, with a meeting about her Quirk in order to mitigate the headaches, no less. So, he took the time out of his day to begin drawing schematics. The morning was filled with an insane catalog of ideas, concepts. And they would all sit upon the desk, waiting for her judgment. [break][break] Yori had, at one point, mistaken Futaba's name for Hoshiko. This was due to a small resemblance between the two. She, as his daughter, had a more mind-oriented Quirk, so it made sense. He corrected himself quickly, of course, but he imagined that this would be a talk that the good doctor would have with his own daughter. A prelude to the hope he had in his heart to her to come back. He felt, because of this talk, he had a chance too. It was going so well. [break][break] Sometimes. Life had a way to just pile it on at the most vulnerable. [break][break] It was when Futaba made a note of the hairband that Yori made a grin. "Oh? AHAHAHA! That is correct, young Himura! It is as I denoted from the image that I received from the rulers of this abode!" There was the bravado. The bravado of a man who was broken, but working through it all the same. He had been so close, so as he moved to focus on the ribbon, and Futaba got up to get some water, Yori's eyes went upwards. [break][break] Why was he crying? Did he know this would happen? His vision was blurry. It was as if he knew the future before it happened, yet that was an impossible matter. He watched first-hand at the hell he was put back into. Her falling in slow-motion; a courtesy he was not given when Hoshiko had fallen. But this, in its own way, was more horrifying. His pupils would shrink, as he threw his chair upwards. "Hoshiko?!"[break][break] No no no no no no no. A waterfall of sorrow cascaded from his eyes, downwards, as he was fully crying. Moving his way over towards Futaba, his one human leg heavier than his prosthetic. It was like lead, as he closed the distance. He would pull Futaba into his arms, and moved his fingers to her neck. She had a pulse, but... something was wrong. [break][break] "No. No no no. Stay with me. Hey, young Himura? ... young Himura?" he spoke quickly, the bravado gone. He spoke with clarity, as if he wasn't mad. And he was taken back to that hell again, as he picked Himura up. He was not strong. In fact, if he were honest, he was weak, but for a moment, the fatherly instinct kicked in. [break][break] He didn't know what was wrong. But Akasu might. But wait, he wasn't in now... The realization dawned on him. If he couldn't save one little girl, how could he ever hope to save his daughter? [break][break] Quickly, Yori found himself taking the girl to the nurse's office, regardless of knowing this, and let her rest on a bed, as he began fumbling through Akasu's belongings in order to find something, anything to help with this. Futaba was not sure where she was. She was awake, she knew that, but everything was moving around her. Her eyes were open but everything was blurry. The lights and the motion her head was creating a weird distortion of the classroom. Everything hurt. She felt weak. Her head felt like it was going to split open. It came out of no where for her. She was not feeling ill the entire day. Why did this happen? How did this happen? She was not using her quirk or has been using for a few a days. The rest of her body ached. Not sure from the impact of her hitting the ground or whatever was causing her this great discomfort, Futaba could barely hold on to consciousness.
The only thing Fu was feeling was pain. Her body was betraying her and she did not know why. In a small respite from the pain, Fu felt someone's arms around her. Her vision got clearer and she saw the outline of the black haired teacher. Looking into what she assumed where his eyes were, Futaba croaked out a very faint "I-It hurts..." She tried to point to her, raising her arm that felt like it weighed a tone. Only being able to point to her head, her fight was gone and she drifted into unconscious.
-
When Futaba came to her senses, she was laying on a bed in the nurse's office. Someone was rummaging around in the office. Opening her eyes, her surroundings were still blurry. Everything blurry, everything distorted. Raising her arm, Futaba tried to reach out for the person that was in the room. She tried to speak but couldn't. It was taking all her energy for her to stay awake. The pain was so great. Every part of her body ached but nothing compared to what was happening to her head. While she has had a migraine before, none as severe as this one. Her head felt like it was tearing at the seems.
Her body suddenly started spasming, Futaba convulsing on the bed. She had lost control and was deaf to the world. As soon as it started, it had ended. Futaba's body had come to rest. The only thing Fu could do is lay there, useless and broken. Before losing consciousness again, Fu tried to reach out yet again for whoever was with her. She was not even able to get her arm fully extended before her eyes glazed over and her arm drooped over her body.

"What's wrong?" he spoke to himself quickly, rushing over to the girl, and looking at her again. It was clear, in that moment, that Futaba wasn't needing the nurse's office. No amount of medication could fix this. He pressed his brain to what this could be. There was so many reasons why one might be having a seizure. Unless- [break][break] Think. [break][break] What was it? In the theater, she had blurry vision. Her Quirk, the records. They had something in regards to... mental capability. He pushed every possibility, as he scooped her out of the bed as she reached out to anyone before going limp. He quickly shoved his Datajack Quirk into his phone. "9-1-1." his eyes lit up as he began to run with Himura in his hands. The faster the ambulance could get her, the better. [break][break] Think. What could cause seizures of that magnitude? Convulsing, think. Epilepsy? No, it couldn't be. No no no, if her Quirk was mental, it was in the brain. Something was irritating the brain, it had to be. An infection? Maybe. A stroke? Doubtful. Head injury? Unless it was internal, no. And Himura-san was too innocent to be on drugs, but what- [break][break] A tumor? [break][break] Yori finally got through to the operator. Futaba wasn't heavy, it was that Yori wasn't strong. But if he dropped her, he would be dropping his one chance at redemption. If he dropped her, that was it. No Futaba. No Hoshiko. Yori pushing his hand to Futaba's forehead by time they made it to the front gates. It was a few minutes of running, and his one human leg was sore from the amount of exercise. But there he stood. Collapsing to his knees, and making sure that Futaba was awake. Was still with him. If one hero cannot even save one little girl... [break][break] "Call Cousin." The phone would ring and ring and ring some more. "Aoi." His voice was broken. Like it was when Hoshiko had damn nearly died in his home. Aoi was laying in her bed, stroking the sleeping woman's head next to her. They were some lady from a bar last night. She did not feel so much of a connection to the woman but after the recent events, Aoi had felt lonely. She was not sure where it came from but life works a weird way. Getting up from her bed, Aoi walked over to the kitchen. Yawning, she opened up her fridge, taking out a box of berries. She was about to return to her bed when she heard the familiar ringtone from her phone. Sighing audibly, Aoi picked up the phone. "Yori wh-"
Aoi fell silent as she heard the distress in her cousin's voice. She had not heard his voice in such a distressed tone from him since she talked to him since the whole business happened with his daughter. Without question, Aoi just said "I will be there.", hanging up as she swung open her dresser's door. Putting on a simple shirt and some jeans, Aoi grabbed her car key before sprinting out to her car. Aoi's mum sense turned up to eleven as she heard the name of one of her students. Jumping into her car and paying little regard to the looks she was getting for the lack of shoes, Aoi sped towards the school that was only a minute drive away from her apartment.
Pulling up in front of the school gate, she just arrived as she saw her cousin and one of her students. Her heart sank. Yori did not look like he was in a right mental state and her student looked like she was barely alive. Taking her from Yori's arms, she cradled the poor girl. She had seen disaster victims who looked in better shape than she did.
"Yori...come with me" Pulling Yori along to her car, she let go to open the back seat door. Sliding the senseless girl into the back seat, she motioned Yori to sit next to the girl. "Make sure she doesn't slide too much."
With that Aoi ran over to the drivers seat and jumped into her car. As soon as she shifted the car into gear, she took off. Time was of the essence.

Instincts took over for the teacher. Seeing both her cousin and her student in states that were dire made Aoi's mother instincts turn on. Speeding towards the hospital, Aoi occasionally glanced up at her mirror to see how Fu was doing. She was unconscious and looked even worse than she look when she initially glanced at the girl. She was pale and seemed to be turning paler by the second. The whites of her eyes were showing ever so slightly and her mouth was stained by drool that was slowly dripping out of her mouth. It was bad and she knew that her cousin's state was related to the state of Futaba. What happened to her cousin's daughter was no secret and Futaba was about the age of his daughter so she sort of could understand his reaction. She hated the fact that he reacted the way he did but he could not blame him for it. She'll have to ask what happened later.
Speeding across the somewhat full roads, Aoi tried to get past every light as long as it allowed it. She was pretty sure that she ran at least two red lights. Why the damn hospital had to be so far from the school. After what felt like an eternity, Aoi drove into the ambulance entrance. Jumping out of the car, she was met by a security guard
"Ma'am you're n-"
He was not able to finish his sentence as Aoi ran past him and swung the back seat door open. Pulling out the ill girl, she gave a slight command to Yori
"Move, Yori. Get into the waiting room." Her voice was gentle but it had the firm edges of a command behind it. Cradling the girl, Fu's leaned against Aoi's body as if she knew someone was there holding her. Running into the hospital, Aoi ran to the reception. The nurse looked up and jumped up immediately.
"Bring her over here. We need a bed!" The nurse's voice boomed through the reception area, Aoi watching another nurse pull a bed into the reception area. Laying down the girl, she could feel a sense of dread wash over her. That's when she heard the words that she feared she was going to hear.
"NO PULSE! STARTING CPR. GET ME A CART NOW!" Aoi closed her eyes, not wanting to see what was happening. Not that it mattered, she could hear what was happening.
They brought out some sort of car and they hooked up Fu to some machine that was giving off some horrible beeping sound. It was a long monotone beep that made Aoi's skin crawl. She feared the worst when she heard the words.
"She is stabilised. Get her into an open room. Put her on fluids. Miss, what happened to your daughter?"
Aoi's eyes flew open, her looking at the nurse. Sighing, she pulled over Yori. "He knows better but Himura Futaba was unconscious. I'm Sato Aoi, her sensei. This is my cousin, he should know more. " Turning to her cousin, she softly whispered
"Tell the nice nurse what happened? They can help her if they know what's wrong."
