Hyousuke gave up. The poor boy seemed to be taking it somewhat hard. And even complained about grapplers. Still, he touched gloves. "It was. You've improved a lot since I last saw you fight. At this rate, you'll kick my ass no problem real soon if I don't up my game." He meant it, and gave the guy a charismatic grin. Hyousuke became a challenging opponent. Initially, Kyou thought the young man would be no problem to take down. That obviously wasn't the case now. "Let's let someone else have a try at each other...looks like there are a couple of people wanting to go at it. I'll treat you to something to drink." After putting the used gloves and safety equipment to where they belonged, he went to grab something to drink, even getting Hyousuke's order first.
Coming back, perhaps it was time to do a little bit of digging. Hopefully the blond wouldn't be so reluctant to answer a simple question. "Say, mind if I ask you a question?" If the answer was no, he'd look extremely dejected. But if it was yes...
"Why did you decide to pursue the hero life?" There was a bunch of cliche things that immediately sprung to his mind. Most of which were often a bunch of bullshit. That much he learned real quickly after a little incident that trapped him and Shou-chan for a while underneath rubble. And only later confirmed when he found out what had happened to Asa-chan...and the neglect the poor boy suffered under.

| The compliment did little to soothe Hyousuke's wounded pride. He'd not just lost - he'd been beaten into giving up, so to speak. It was nothing if not humiliating to have to deal with it, no matter how he kept a smile on his face. He'd have to do some more training, something intense. No matter how difficult it would be, he figured it would be a lot less painful than having to deal with constant losses at the hands of people that didn't even need to use their Quirks to knock him to the ground. The question, however, was what? And with who?
Tsubame was the obvious choice, but she had her duties as vice-principal to see to. She wouldn't be around all the time, and Hyousuke didn't have time to waste - especially with the Sports Festival looming. He supposed he'd have to figure it out later, however. He couldn't just stand around, staring off into space and thinking about who his next training partner was going to be. At that point in time, he had to focus on seeming like he wasn't hurting badly at being beaten so soundly. So when Kyou asked if he could ask a question, Hyousuke naturally replied with "Shoot."
He seemed surprised at the question. He didn't mind being asked it, despite not really wanting to give an answer, but it was hardly what he thought Kyou would be interested in hearing. "Same as anyone else." Hyousuke replied, lying so easily it was as though he'd practised it beforehand. "I want to help people. Not exactly a glamorous reason, but what can I say? I'm a simple guy." He shrugged lightly, hoping Kyou bought it. Or, at the very least, respected that he didn't want to talk about it.

Kyou gave the guy a sideways glance, his amber eyes narrowing. He was a good liar himself, but even he had tells. And these were much the same ones that he had. Hyousuke didn't want to talk about it at all. It was too well practiced. "I get the feeling there's something more there, but you don't want to talk about it, simple guy or not. I'm a good liar myself, but we have much the same tells. I would have preferred you being more honest and just saying you didn't want to talk about it." He left it be. He was at least respectful of the other teen's privacy to an extent. The red head could try to get a background check, he supposed...but that could also get tricky and doesn't tell a whole story. All that would lead to were guesses. But it wouldn't hurt. He'll get Shou-chan to look into it.
His eyes glowed molten orange, and his cell phone from his bag was lifted out and headed towards them, going around everyone in the way. Right to him. The red head took the phone from the air. "My quirk is super reliant on my environment and what I bring to be of any real use. Still, I don't mind doing this every so often, with or without quirks. Mind if I get your number? So we don't have to rely on chance for these sessions? Asa-chan might come with me a time or two as well. Though he's not one to spar without something."

| Though he tried to suppress it, Hyousuke couldn't completely hide the look of surprise that covered his face when Kyou picked up on his fib. Still, he took some small comfort in the knowledge that Kyou would at least try to respect his wishes, and wouldn't pry further. So long as Kyou was willing to drop it, Hyousuke was willing to not worry about whether or not he was being caught out, though he made a mental ntoe to try and up his game for when he talked to other people about it.
He was also surprised - though notably less so - by Kyou asking for his number. The bag floating towards them wasn't really something that drew much of his attention, given how much he'd seen at UA. If he was honest, the only reason it did draw his gaze was for him to make sure he could get out of the way. "Oh, right, sure. Here, my number." Hyousuke held the screen out between the both of them, waiting until Kyou was done. "Just let me know if you're bringing anyone else along. Just need to make sure my schedule's clear for them."

The red head put himself in Hyousuke's phone as Demonboi. Because why not. He also put in Asa-chan's number as Tentacles. "I put in Asa-chan's number too. Hope you don't mind the nicknames, Hyou-chan. Shou-chan might take you up on that offer, but he's not that strong...he's a boxer. But I don't know off the top of my head if he would or not." Getting up, he grinned at the blond. "I scored some tickets to the Sports Festival. If I don't see you before then, I wish you the best of luck. We'll be cheering for you." Only real reason he was leaving so soon was because Asa-chan was waiting by the entrance. He couldn't help but wander if something happened.
The stoic blue-violet haired boy bowed at Hyousuke just before attaching himself to the red head's side. As they walked down the street, Asahi was the one that spoke. "Shou-kun said it was something about our other activity. We might have been discovered."
"I see. Send someone to start moving things. It won't take long before we'll have some uninvited guests. A day or two at most." Though it could be fun...depending on who they send. There was a lot to move, though, so he doubted they'll be ready yet...
