Carina read what the girl, apparently named Sam, wrote down and thought for a moment. Parks generally had places that were a lot calmer then here, but she didn’t know if there were any nearby. Perhaps the boy knew the area better and knew where a park was or another quiet space. She grabbed her pain and wrote an answer back.
“Going to a quieter space is fine with me. And don’t worry, you don’t seem rude Sam.”
Carina ate her ice cream slightly faster. The boy seemed to do the same, although a bit too fast, as he seemed to have suffered a brain freeze.
“We could go to a park. They should have some quieter spaces there, but I don’t know if there is one nearby. Also, do you mind telling me your name? It’s a bit awkward without it.”
The last question was directed at the boy, something Carina hoped she conveyed as she showed the paper to the other two.

A park usually wouldn't be the sort of space for Sam, but with others it sounded good enough. And they were willing to accomodate her! Maybe this wouldn't be as bad a town as her anxiety made her feel. Small steps though, she didn't want to scare them off. She inhaled the last of her hot chocolate, purring at the warm feeling within her, and very happy for Kota's sound bubble in that moment. She looked at him again, and still felt a little sad. Maybe in the park she'd ask him, assuming he was fine. It was best though to let Kota answer Carina's question though. Instead she quickly typed, 'I'll go return my dishes and pass in the chair, don't wanna leave it for someone to trip over. I'll meet you both by the road.'
Satisfied that the message had been read, she began move away. It was good to have the quick social breather. She knew she didn't have to return the dishes, but it made the servers jobs a little easier and meant someone else could use that table. She didn't always try to do it, either absent minded or in a hurry, but Sam figured doing sometimes was better than none. Still she couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed as she once again ducked through the door into the parlour proper, carrying the crumpled mess of her chair. The owner smiled though, accepting her apologies. Surprisingly he mentioned if Sam returned he'd make sure she could use a booth, as the seats were sturdier. She blushed a little and scampered out again to meet up with Carina and Kota.

Kota first read over Carina's message, and then Sam's. It seemed like both of them were okay with going to the park. Kota was also on board with this, so he gave a reassuring smile to both of them as he searched his pockets for more paper. After finding a stray, folded-up sheet in his pants pockets, he spread it out on the table and wrote his responses for both of them.
"For Carina, My name is Kota. It's nice to meet you. And I like your idea about going to the park. I'm ready to go whenever both of you are."
He then stood up and put his dishes to the side of the table, knowing that the server would get it later. He smiled a bit, happy that he had met some friendly faces today. When he saw Sam come back, he gestured to the exit in a polite way. It was time to go to the park!
