Jun was initially going to go after Fu-chan. But Daiki beat him to the punch. Well, if it was him...he didn't think he needed to do anything. So he just walked right in line after giving Daiki a thumbs up sign in support, but spoke to their resident cook. "Say, can you make something easy on the stomach for her? I'll even help with shopping or whatever..." The stress and anxiety was bad for someone already unsure of themselves. Even with encouragement from earlier. Though, it did hit him as well, signified by his left eye turning blue. He also spoke to Ryuga, who seemed down about it. "Don't worry, if it's Daiki, he'd cheer her up and get her back on track. He may be a loudmouth, but he's a really good guy. You can trust him. So try to relax and focus on the test, yeah? You won't be any good to Fu-chan if you don't focus on the here and now. You can talk to her when Ren and I try to help her out too."
Maybe he can teach her some hand to hand combat things? To help her with her confidence? Well, we'll see what she thinks after this little test. All day seem to be a bit much to him though. Well, depending on the tests, he supposed. But with his quirk and his own training with his parents, it shouldn't be that hard. The only classmate he really hadn't had extended interactions with was the cat. But from the pillow fight, he was going to be tough to beat in any agility based match. Daiki just looked like anything physical would be right up his alley. Then everyone else right behind. Well, time to see what kind of test this is going to be.

Hmm, interesting.
Daiki Satou was going after Himura. He even said if he was not back in seven minutes she could expel him. Very brave or foolish, Aoi will decide that in a few minutes. She found it amusing, if she was honest. She was going to clear up whatever happened with Himura the next day but Satou's hero complex kicked in. Amazing how foolish some of these kids were. If she expelled him and the staff would question her, Aoi would simply repeat what he said to her. It would make her life easy. Usually when she expelled someone, the staff made such premature judgments about Aoi, at least the last few years. Last year some of the satff started trusting her judgment.
Typical U.A. arrogance.
Glancing at the other students that had made her way behind, she smirked a bit.
This sure is going to be an interesting class.
Taking out her stopwatch, Aoi clicked a few buttons as it started counting down 7 minutes. She will have to explain what they were going to do today first before they could do anything. It would unfair to just tell them to do stuff without actually telling them what to do.
"We have several activities today" Aoi continued with the same tone she employed before. "First, we are going to stretch. Do this as you like. We'll do this for 7 minutes. After this you will do push up. I will give you the pace you have to do them at and will inform you when you have done enough. This will be done with sit ups as well. Then, you will have a run around the school track. You will run until I tell you to stop. Then you will attempt varies Olympic disciplines like high jump, shot-put, and so forth. We will keep this going till" Aoi glanced at her watch
"17:00. I have made adjustments for your quirk, Suzuki. Any questions?" Aoi finished, giving them all a small smile. Today was going to be interesting.

Isamu’s defiant expression softened just a little into a grimace as he wanted what happened with Fu. That… did not look pleasant, to put it mildly. When Daiki ran after her, however, he only quirked an eyebrow. Well, he quirked what would have been an eyebrow if he had had those.
On the one hand, he could understand helping a classmate. On the other… offering to let yourself be expelled was a pretty idiotic move. Mentally, Isamu added another line to his mental notes on the boy.
He turned his attention back to the teacher as she started speaking again. Stretching first, which made sense, although he’d already been doing that. Being a cat did have its advantages when it came to being loose and flexible. Inwardly he groaned as she mentioned pushups and situps. It wasn’t that he couldn’t do those, they just felt a little awkward sometimes. Plus he spent a lot of time on all fours anyway, so the pushups sometimes felt moot.
Running? He could handle that, depending on how long they were running for. He tended to be pretty active, but he’d never specifically trained for endurance before.
And finally… ‘various Olympic disciplines.’ Well that was a whole very mixed bag. Depending on what events were chosen he could either do very well or very, very poorly.
He continued to stretch until the seven minutes were up, and when it came time for pushups he started with the regular kind, but after a few switched stances. He kicked his hindlegs up into the air, balancing with his tail as he settled into a handstand stance, and then started again, using his entire body this time for extra weight.

Fu really did not know where she was running. She could not run home. Was she running to the train station? There were always tickets available for Otaru. Most people would not even notice she was gone. Her parents would not be disappointed. They probably knew that Fu did have what was needed to be a hero. Deep down they knew that she did not have it. They knew the quirk that Fu had and they knew about Fu's issues. They should have said something when she declared she wanted to be a hero. They should have said something and Fu could have saved the embarrassment that she just felt. She could just be in a regular school without having to worry about being ashamed for her quirk or abilities. Fu naturally slowed down, feeling some tears starting to develop. "They were right. I'm a dishonor to my parents name. They deserved having another child like Ryuu, not me. Not lame old me." Fu felt herself stop in her tracks, her own thoughts terrifying her. How can she think of something like that? Did she really hate herself that much? She really could not explain why something like that would cross her mind. Thankfully, she really did not need to think about it too much as a voice interrupted her thought process. It was Daiki. He had run after her, apparently. She wondered what compelled him to do so. Having spent some time around Daiki helped her understand that he does mean well. He had his heart in the right place, even though it was hard for Fu to see this at times. When he spoke to her, like he was doing now, Fu could see that side. When he was his high energy self, she could not. "Himura-chan... What Sato-sensei said probably sounded harsh, but she meant well. After all, you heard her before. She said to meet her in the morning tomorrow. She wants what is best for you, and she's going to do her best to make it happen. But Himura-chan... We need to have a real, heart to heart talk. No one else, just you and me.
Walk with me- or have me carry you, but later?
We need to talk of your reason to be a Hero, nothing off limits, the whole truth. Anyways, that's for later. Let's get you cleaned up and to the infirmary. I'll try to remember what I can to catch you up, at least on the lesson part of things, okay?"Smiling a bit, she shrugged. If she thought about it, she really did not have a reason to be a hero other than her parents were heroes. Even with the conversation she had with her best friend, she still had doubts and what happened amplified those doubts. Looking at her dirty gym uniform, she smiled a bit. She did not deserve to be here. Smiling at Daiki, she gave him a small hug. "I appreciate running after me but no need to waste your future on me. You're going to be a great hero, I know it. No need to throw that away." Releasing her hug, Fu gave Daiki a small bow. "Don't worry about me...just forget that I ever was here. Both of us are better off without me being here." With another bow, Fu walked past Daiki. She is not going to pretend that she can be a hero. Her "classmates" can believe that she can be a hero but in the end, it mattered what Fu was capable of. Being a hero was not.

Raphael had been too busy preparing himself for the tests that were about to come to notice the shift of colours around the black haired girl nearby. If he had, he may or may not have been able to do something if he acted quickly but he hadn't- something he regretted as he heard the small comotion and glanced in that direction. The girl was surrounded in a hazy, reddish purple and it clung to her body like a large python. That...that isn't good...The blonde bit his lip. He watched as Daiki ran after her, as much as he knew the right thing to do, what a good person would do was do the same, he found he couldn't. Because he wasn't a good person. He was a being that was created solely for this purpose and if he failed at being a hero, what other option did he have? Nothing.Like a tool, if it could not fulfil its use, it would be pointless, junk, trash. And it would be fine if it was just himself he would humiliate by doing so, but it would be his parents, his family name, the memory of his mother who had dragged herself along for all those years with a even darker, murkier almost tar black aura around her that he would be tainting. He had to do well so the whole of Japan would remember her when they heard his name. And so he had to press on. He would inform Ms.Sato of what he could see, regarding the young girl's deteriorating mental state of mind after class. That was the appropriate order of doing things. And his father always said what is most important is that things were done the correct way, in the correct order. "One must not drown in humanity, but follow the set rules and sequences."Yes. He had to follow his father's words. He was never wrong. Raphael took a deep breath before starting his warm ups. The running was not an issue at all, seeing as the one thing he could do physically, even if he wasn't that strong physically or had good defence, was that he could run pretty fast due to his training regimen it was a sort of side effect of trying to increase his lung capacity. He then started to work on the push ups, which was again part of his regimen anyway so wasn't too bad. Once he was told he could change, he started doing sit ups while wondering what kind of other "Olympic Disciplines" they would be doing, it really was a shame his quirk...didn't work on himself. He knew it was because that was not the intended design of his own quirk, he was made to support others. But he had quickly learned that when trying to become a hero... you couldn't just stand behind others all the time.

As if to make Ryuga feel worse than she did, Satou-san decided to run after her, while Ryuga's legs continued to weigh her down from below. Half of her knew that it was the heroic thing to do. It was what she should have done, yet the friend in her knew that Himura-san would likely wish not to be seen by someone looking like that.
Yet Daiki ran, making an ultimatum to Sato-sensei. Her face only soured more, but it was thanks to Tomoshibi-san that she was even remotely able to snap out of it. When she began to rub her arm, and sit with such a defeated look, Jun took notice.
His words set her a little more at ease, but there was still the glaring issue inside of her. Instead of acting like a hero, she acted selfishly. That wasn't how a hero should act. Right? Even so, he had a point. She wasn't any good to Himura-san right now, regardless of being there or here. There was a time for doubt. She would make up for this later.
Then came Sato-sensei's decision. The device in her hand was a stopwatch. So she would have allowed it through.
No time to think on that. Listen.
Today would be about stretches, then push-ups, and sit-ups. And while Ryuga began to stretch and show more and more of her body, she attempted to focus on the here and now. If she focused on how Himura-san felt, she would keep assuming she would break their promise. Thinking on that would lead to her own performance doing badly.
Wait... her own performance.
Ryuga gave a confident smile. She knew how to handle the situation. Like an epiphany. While at first, her stretching didn't seem to have her heart into it, but as Ryuga began to get into it, getting on the ground, splitting her legs, and reaching for her toes, she had this look of victory on her face. Ryuga would be to Futaba what Kokoro was to Ryuga. Sure, U.A. might be problematic, trying to juggle her own grades, and Futaba, but she needed stability, and Ryuga would do what she could to get her to the point of being a hero. She'd likely need to cut her sleep by a few hours. But she could operate on four hours for her friend. She could help Futaba reach her potential. She was so sure of it, she was having tunnel vision.
And as she stretched, her mind constantly put together her plans. Her mind racing. Anything for a friend.
Oh, Ryuga. You poor, deluded girl.

Daiki was right there next to Fu when she started to try and walk right passed him. He didn't block her way, he just walked by her side looking forward. It was clear that Fu wanted to run and hide, but Daiki was going to strain that desire for as long as he could, he was sticking right there for the length of what he had to say. Though out of hopes to not pressure her too much and pull her too far out of her habits and comfort zone, he'd head off after he finished what he had to explain. When all else failed to conjure words in hard times, the sky was always there as a reminder. The universe, in fact. No matter what's happening, the day, year, millennium, time always moves forward. The clouds when they're up there always roll through blue and black alike. It always moves forward, and just like that it was reassuring knowing he was synonymous with all of that. Born ultimately at the very core of it all from the same things that created that star, that star over there, the sun. He had to always keep moving forward to, everybody had to keep moving forward. He'd speak up towards her.
"Himura-chan, all that matters in the end is you. Yourself, everything comes from that foundation. What you make of the world, what you make of the world, the conduit for all of that is you. This can mean at times the world makes you what it sees, but it also means you can make the world what you want it to be. I don't know what sorts of trauma and problems you've had in the past, but what I'm seeing right now is someone who needs not to cope with bad feelings, but to accept good ones. I know you're critical of yourself, always looking outside for opinions, always looking outside for validation. None of that matters, it comes naturally. What you need to focus on is you, not others right now. In the short time we've known each other you've used one defense most of the time when we try and reassure you, that your quirk is bad. Bad roll of the die, I don't think that is the case, but that's not what you want to hear, and you won't hear it if I said it anyways.
At first I tried to appeal to that dominant side of you that looked for opinions on yourself. That takes good words lightly, and takes criticism harshly. I tried to tell you you're amazing, I gave you my honest opinion. Though that's not working, and I don't think it ever would. The most important thing is what you have to decide for yourself. With your heart, not your gut. Your mind corrects the heart, your heart should correct the gut. If your gut tells you to run, your heart should say screw that, I'm passionate about this and it's my future to take hold of. If your heart says to do something obviously stupid, maybe hold back. Or do the stupid thing; I might get expelled but hey, there are other schools. Schools open the door, it depends on the student how far they'll walk beyond it. There is one question I want you to answer before I see you again tomorrow, I'll maybe be seeing you with Mom-sensei tomorrow morning. I'm going to leave you with this one; I really wish you'd come with me to get changed and go to the infirmary, but if going elsewhere for now brings you more peace, forcing your hand would do more harm than good."
Daiki took a heavy breath, gently resting a hand on Fu's shoulder to perhaps gesture her to slow down for just a moment. He'd ask his question.
"Himura-chan, don't consider any other opinion than your own on this. If you don't think you know it, forward the question to your heart, not your gut. Himura-chan, do you want to be a Hero? Don't factor in if it's possible, don't factor in your family or friends, don't factor in school or academics. Don't factor in anxiety. We can work on the other things later, but for now all that matters is what your heart wants. Everyone can be a Hero, I truly believe that.
Anyways, I don't expect you to answer my question now. Think on it today, and tell me in person tomorrow. I'll see you tomorrow, Himura-chan."
Daiki smiled, turning around and heading back. In actuality... The MILLISECOND he was out of sight he ZOOMED into a panic of a sprint, and would blast in a drift of dust back into the training field, looks like he got his warm-up done. He was back with the group in a jiffy, hands on his knees, ready to go. "Alright, I'm back. Did I make it?"

Post by Ren Wolff on Jan 27, 2019 17:46:35 GMT
As the rest of the students started to make their way into the line behind the professor, something was amiss. Ren heard the retch and winced as he looked over to see Futaba. He truly felt bad for the girl, and given their previous conversations, this sort of incident wasn't going to do her confidence any favors. That much was made even more evident when she ran off a moment later. "Himura-san -" Without thinking Ren started to take a step to follow after the girl, only pausing when he noticed Daiki had moved first. That was probably for the best, since it gave his mind a second to catch up. As much as he wanted to help, he honestly had no idea what he could possibly say to improve the situation, hell he was so unused to actually talking to people that he might actually end up making it worse. No, he already trusted that Daiki was probably the best one for the job, and just because he didn't move now didn't mean that he couldn't still help, as Jun suggested. He gave the boy a nod in response, quickly running through the list of ingredients he had stored away in his head. "...Yeah, I have a few things in mind that could help, we'll have to throw some things together when we get back to the dorms."
That of course assumed that they'd even be able to move by the time they were done here. According to Aoi they were going to be there for quite awhile while she put them through their paces. Even though he'd already done some quick stretching, with the extra 7 minutes of prep Ren didn't pass up the chance and went through another, more extensive routine he knew. It was pretty obvious that he'd be needing it.
Ren could run pretty fast and had been put through enough training by his family that he was decently strong as well. The only complication was that a lot of his exercising involved short but intense bursts, which meant that his stamina wasn't the greatest. He had been forced to learn how to endure for quite awhile in spite of this during his kendo training, but it meant that his overall performance was full of peaks and valleys where he had to catch his breath between sprints. The fact that the teacher was setting the pace for the push ups and sit-ups was probably a blessing in disguise however, since it meant that he wouldn't be burning himself out completely by the time they actually got to the run.

Ren agreed to it, and Ryuga seemed to have to taken to Jun's words well...she even started to perk up a little during stretching. She must have thought it through and came to a decision. Jun started in as well, and added a question. "Are we allowed to use our quirks however we wish?" He had heard that there was an assessment test that included using your quirk extensively, so he wondered if this was that test or if it was just to test their physical capabilities for now.
He was already fairly limber and flexible. Still, he was mostly average aside from two areas, speed and reaction time. He was agile. But he was also very fragile too. He did think it was good that she made adjustments for Isamu. So he stretched, and saw that Daiki came back. So now it was on to the push-ups. Then when told to switch, he would. Jun knew this was going to be hell once the Olympic stuff started. He really couldn't wrap his head around that. He knew you had to be in shape to be a hero, but wasn't that going a little too far? Then again, depending on your quirk, you might have to go that far. Or depending on the opponent. Then again, it was also risky relying on your quirk alone. A real hero shouldn't rely strictly on it. On the same tricks. That was a good way to get beaten down. Well, better give it his best shot.

Mhm, 7 minutes will be over soon. Wonder if he will make it.
Daiki Satou reminded her of hero she started out. He wanted to be a hero for everyone. He wanted to be a hero, even when the situation did not call for it. This was one of these situations. Some people were not cut out to being a hero, simple as that. Running after a girl who puked over herself is not going to change what happened. Aoi was going to talk to Himura later but maybe Daiki Satou was going to merit that future talk useless. Aoi won't know this until the next day. Aoi was about to wonder what was keeping the boy when one of the other students asked a question.
"You're free to use your quirk as much as you want." Aoi answered flatly, not looking up from her watch. These questions had been asked before so she was not very concerned. What actually interested her were the general concerns the class had about their classmate. They all seemed to care for another, at least for some extent. She'll keep an eye on it. She was curious if it was going to last into the rest of the year.
There he is...
Looking at her watch, she smiled a bit.
00:07:03
"No, you are not Satou." Her voice was the same matter-of-fact tone she used when she was explaining the exercises they were planning to do. Stepping closer to him, she looked him up and down. She was not going to expel him. That would be harsh, even for her. Grimacing a bit, she said plainly
"I won't expel you, however, you are dismissed for today. Meet me in my office tomorrow." Turning around towards the other students, she clapped.
"Get ready."

Post by Isamu Suzuki on Feb 13, 2019 7:25:45 GMT
Relatively speaking, Isamu was in fairly decent shape. Relatively speaking.
By necessity his diet tended to consist of natural foods, so he didn’t have to worry about synthetic compounds or processed sugars or any of the other perils of modern dining. His small statue meant he spent more effort getting from place to place, necessitating an overall higher level of fitness than he might otherwise need, and a penchant for climbing and jumping gave him plenty of excuses to exercise his body.
Then again, he hadn’t kept up a dedicated exercise regime—he had given up on his family’s martial arts a long time ago, and nothing else had ever caught his fancy—so there was still room for improvement.
I’m too used to carrying my own body, thought the feline student to himself as he did his modified version of pushups. Running around on all fours meant he was too used to carrying his body weight. He wasn’t sure how much more strength he could get, but if he wanted to find out, he’d need to start hitting the gym.
When the teacher called an end to the push-ups he flipped himself onto his feet again before laying down on his back. His body didn’t really care for situps, since his hind legs just didn’t want to bend that way, but he could use his hind legs and tail as a sort of counterbalance, holding his lower half flat while he worked on the stomach muscles. Those went fine, just a little uncomfortable. He grumbled a little and restretched as he got back up, but otherwise seemed okay.
And then came the laps on the school track. Sure, he could do it on all fours, but honestly, it wasn’t the best way for him to run. Plus having four points of traction rather than two was a lot nicer. Cats weren’t built to be long-distance runners, and neither was he, but he had the advantage of a daily schedule to force him to be more active and build up his stamina reserves, plus willpower and determination on top. Still, he kept to a moderate, measured pace, but was still panting for breath a little as he finished the prescribed laps and took a few moments to catch his breath and then wandered off to guzzle some water from a water fountain before heading back to rejoin the class.
Okay. Add endurance training to the list. Guess I’ll fit laps into my schedule… somewhere.

Post by Ren Wolff on Feb 19, 2019 0:03:30 GMT
Endurance really wasn't Ren's strong point. Even since he was brought to Japan, his family had been training him to essentially be a showpiece, and so despite having such a small frame, the boy was pretty strong. Even on top of those ridiculous drills, he had always been more physically active than most people his age as well, so he was most assuredly fit... but his body was just built more for sprints than marathons. Of course his family wouldn't have that; they needed him to excel at anything and everything he did, so they beefed up the training regiments even more to compensate. Maybe it would have eventually worked too, but Ren had left before their efforts could have a chance to bare fruit. Part of the real issue, not that he had the best grasp on it himself, was the same issue that the he had often faced when learning to use his quirk; he didn't know how to hold back.
The push ups and sit ups ended up going well enough. The pace the teacher set was a bit slower than he would have done by himself, but the count was only a little higher than what he had grown used to. When all was said and done, his muscles were a bit stiff, but he was none the worse for wear... which brought them to the run. Here the boy's shortcomings were a bit more obvious, as he started off at nearly full speed and quickly found his lungs struggling to keep up. Inevitably he started to slow and fall back as he fought for air, but even with his poor endurance, Ren was fairly good at recovering while keeping on the move. After a few minutes of catching his breath he was right back to pushing himself to make up the lost ground. This resulted in him settling into a cycle of sprinting and resting as he consistently burned through his reserves. While obviously far from the most efficient of methods, and relying heavily on his ability to maintain willpower, it still got the job done.
In their brief respite after they were done running laps, Ren had to use most of his remaining resolve to keep from collapsing on the ground as his lungs continued to work overtime. He knew well enough that that would just make things worse anyway. Instead, he summoned up what energy he could muster and clapped his hands together. A chilling sensation spread through Ren's body as bands of ice formed around his forehead and arms, helping to cool him down while he finished catching his breath. Up to this point, his quirk hadn't gotten much use because of the way he'd been disguising it; there aren't a lot of ways to get an advantage on push ups and running with a creation quirk after all. Now that they'd be moving on to the Olympic disciplines however, there would be far more opportunities to put it to work. He just needed to get a bit creative.

Post by Ryuga Hoden on Feb 22, 2019 0:17:30 GMT
Daiki returned for a moment. Zoomed through to the field, and Ryuga felt this strain of irritation. She never felt that before. Jealousy? Doubtful. But still, it remained. But not for long, as it seemed he was dismissed for the day, confirming her thought on not going, but making her feel no less awful. Not to mention, for just a moment she had been happy to see Daiki almost expelled. That was cold. She was better than that. She had to be. Just a moment ago, she had decided to act as Futaba's tutor. Now, she was glad her classmate almost got expelled.
... the id was a fickle thing, it seemed. She'd apologize to Satou-san later. That was a promise.
Push-ups turned to sit-ups. Sit-ups turned to running laps. Ryuga was in shape, that was true, but in shape for her wasn't quite this kind of shape. Ryuga believed herself good enough to pass what Sato-sensei had planned out. But, her sensei seemed to disagree, and Ryuga could feel the intensity on her arms and legs. Her lungs, thankfully, being still intact.
And then. Wolff-san gave an idea.
He was flexing his Quirk. Ice. Ryuga knew it was the case, and so despite not heaving a storm, Ryuga figured it was time to flex her Dragonlung. If she wanted to be number one, she needed to get ahead of the game too. Grabbing the bottle of hot sauce she always kept on her person. She twisted the cap, leaned it upwards, and downed it. The liquid burned her tongue. She began to sweat, and just then, it felt like she was drinking a meteor. And as the hot sauce was finished, she pocketed the bottle, and felt it welling up. Clawing towards her throat almost, wanting to rip it out fully. Her eyes began to water. Her teeth were gritting, and she knew that this was how fire affected her. She needed to get used to it. So, she pointed her mouth upwards, and mustering the Quirk in her lungs-
"AAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Like a dragon, the fire breath flooded the air upwards, the heat intense, as her face was red from the heat. That powerful mass of flames just aimed upwards. And damn, was her throat burning. She needed a drink already. But this would definitely force her lungs to get stronger. If not that, than at least a warm-up.
If this was training, it was better to train everything, right? After the flames died, she began to heave. 'Four more shots... need to save them.'

Uuuuuuh... Hm. Daiki stood there as he got the news from his teacher. The first hands on class and he'd be excluded, why? He did the right thing. He wondered why someone would bar a student from their academics. There was sitting in a corner, then there was just... Exclusion from something. He waited a moment, before nodding as he came upon his answer to the issue. Bowing once, he turned and headed off. While the answer to the reason he was punished was a little more complex, the answer to the problem at hand wasn't.
If he was from excluded from class he would just teach himself. Take the time to train and dig in. He might not learn much in terms of technique- since he can't teach himself stuff he doesn't know. Though he can innovate ideas, unique ways to use his quirk. He had a lot of options at his disposal. He'd likely still be on school grounds somewhere if by chance someone strayed far off from the class itself. Not watching or anything, just doing his own training and thinking to substitute for the class. Being removed from classes was no reason not to learn, he just needed to think a little more instead of expect his future to be given by someone else. The best teacher to oneself is that very person. Therefore Daiki would be that teacher, except there was a solid 0% chance of ever being excluded from his own classes.
Plus, it was free, so there's that. Headphones in, phone in his pocket he began to listen to music and engage in the great self-learning at his disposal.

Jun was surprised that Daiki wasn't allowed to stay either. It made no sense to him that if she wasn't going to expel him, why send him away? It was strange to say the least. Still, he continued on. Ryuuga and Ren used their quirks for a couple of the exercises. Only the fire half of his quirk was of any use here. Long jump and those types of competitions would be best to use his quirk at, using a flame thrower to increase distance, or a fire ball to blast. There wasn't much he could use it on. That was the problem. His electric half was worthless, and his fire half barely worth anything in this type of situation.
He may be in decent enough shape to have an average amount of strength for his age group, and faster and reacted faster than typical, but he also had average stamina. He had a feeling he'll end up near the center of the pack, even with the few instances of his quirk being useful.
