Yukiko had normally preferred to learn about her students in a as you go type of approach in order to study them. However, this type of setting would make that take longer so she thought she'd do some studying. However, the more she read the files detailing the abilities of her students, the more suspicious she got. Students at U.A. with so little being noted as their abilities didn't seem feasible to her, it was more likely stuff was just missing or false in these. Figures, even hero kiddos were getting the secrets treatment. It couldn't be helped she supposed, the old fashioned was it was. She chose a rather interesting training ground. She brought in a rather large whiteboard from one of the classrooms, specifically for notetaking into the room. As well, the room contained an open arena with multiple dummies, some replaceable boulders, targets, and some odds and ends things to have as mobile targets. Yukiko also knew that she had to go over the basics of her expectations and the expectations of the class as well as introductions before just jumping right into the work. This is why Dojos were better: Just come in and work, no need for all the pleasantries but this was a classroom so it had to have "decorum" and "presentation". It was all just wasted time honestly but the rules were just that. She went to the white board and proceeded to write on the top of it "EXAMS" with five other words written below: Restraint, Guts, Control, Skill, and Technique. Yukiko left those words up there to simmer for the time being. She also had on her the prepared....Syllabi. What useless pieces of paper, these were Heroes in Training not infants. They should be capable of asking, documenting, and keeping up with their own expectations and not having Yukiko doing it all in advance for them. Nonetheless, she went to a pair of desks in the area and put a copy of them on each desk. It detailed the lessens, what was expected in the course of the Quirk Mastery preparations, ho often one was expected to train on their own, and when Yukiko's exams were for this class and how they were separate from the exams written on the board.
Other information like important dates and all that as well and Yukiko's expectations. Class was about time spent and preparation. Yukiko also wrote in it "Will speak about, demonstrate, and teach the Unbearable Training Method, you are expected to take your own, diligent notes." in the syllabi. One of the first things the syllabi specified however was the rules. The first rule was very clear "When I say Full Stop, you stop everything you're doing, no exceptions. Even if you have to release control of your Quirk, if that's the case, aim straight up." and it was stated this was specifically for safety. Another mandated rule was that training journals were expected to be kept and Yukiko would have surprise inspections of them and their progress to make sure this was the case. Overall, she wanted them to succeed and grow but wanted to push them to do so and felt just a classroom setting wouldn't do it, she felt some specialized instruction and then putting the pressure on them to do the work they needed to be the heroes they wanted to be was the right path to success. So for the time being, she' wait until they would arrive as her mighty frame went to the front of the room area and cracked open a small barrel of tuna and proceeded to scarf down a few pieces down her throat.
